I've experience this in the past,and i felt the pain more when someone verbally abuse me,verbally abuse my pride and my head just went black out and hit the assassin in the face many times,after that incident still the pain is there ,it took years to heal, but the assassin face that is full of wounds healed in just a short time....Which is painful to you, Physical or verbal abuse?Share some thoughts!!!thanks!

When I was a child,once I was attacked by a rooster.It attacked my pride.How mad I was!I told my grandma to kill it!
It was really painful,oh,no.I don't wanna refer to it any more.

Well, I think that verbal abuse is more damaging to a person because
1) it diminishes one's self confidence;
2) it harbors hate to others
3) sometimes, people can't seem to get over verbal abuse
4) it affects how a person deals with others for fear of being abused over and over again.
5) it affects one's personality.
so for those who have nothing nice to say to other people, please don't bother saying words that will not help others or will not make other people happy.

Verbal and emotional abuse are more painful than a punch in the face or something physical. Physical wounds may heal and the pain will fade, but emotional abuse and verbal abuse is not that easy to fade and be healed instantly or even for several years. The pain which cannot be easily forget and sometimes lead to insanity.
I hate this kind of pain. I may not handle it when it is too much.

hi there.
cuts and bruise heal in short span of time. but a bruised pride and ego could last several years or even a lifetime.

Whatever offense a person has done to us, to be offended in our choice. I think its normal for human beings to feel hurt when someone hurt their ego but we can always control that emotion. I admit, I am also not that kind of person and it seems difficult to do that. But I always tell myself that I should be doing something about it.

welcome to mylot mel, i can say that both of that is painful, though i can say that a punch on the face is much painful for when someone punch you on the face it hurts your body and hurts your pride as well. so its a two bird in one stone. if the punch on the face leaves a mark or a bruise and people sees it its another punch on the pride. well that is only my opinion.

verbal bcs if it is physical you get hurt sure but i dont know if is verbal it also affect us physically you know. is harder to forget in our head what the person said to us. but also physical abuse affects the head if is something constant so this depends of the situation. about me what affects me most is verbal one bcs i really am not a person with a very big self esteem i get sad easy and easily think im nothing big to people bcs i never had a big lucky with friends i had. they care but they are not constantly after me asking how are you i miss you. im a needy person so bad words or acting careless hurts me more than a slap :(
