This topic may only applicable to Catholic people but of course anyone is welcome to answer. I admit even I sometimes lead the rosary in our family, I haven't prayed the rosary alone before until a problem which was too critical came. It really made me get the rosary and pray. And it just didn't happened once, I have prayed it for consecutive nights. How about you guys, have you already pray the rosary alone?

Yes, it's good to bring a rosary at all times, especially when traveling. I can see that you are really a religious person and that's really good. Keep it up. God is really our best companion, even if we are alone, He is always there, we just need to call and pray to Him. Thank you for your response and have a great day!

Hello Harold_ks,
Yes, I have done it alone - praying the rosary all by myself. And I have done that for so many consecutive nights.
Have a nice day!

It's good that you have already done it. Your family really has a good practice. It is said that the family that prays together, stays together. :) Thank you for your response and have a great day!

I went to a Catholic school during highschool. So, it is mandatory to pray the rosary everyday. I am a Catholic and my grandma really observed the 6 o'clock habit of praying the rosary together. So, this has been a practice that went for so many years, until my Aunt and Uncle became a Born again Christians.
Because of the separation in religious belief, I've no choice but to continue the habit of praying the rosary even if I was alone. I did it while riding a jeepney going to the office. Or sometimes, I intentionally go to the church to pray the rosary alone.
I used to do it, but I no longer doing it right now...Nor do I pray the rosary anymore...

You have grown to be a religious person and that's good. But why did you stop? Have you lost your faith to God? I hope you can still regain your faith to God and continue your religious practices. God is our creator and no one but Him who can be able to help and guide us in our lives. Thank you for your response and God bless!

I did not lose my faith in Him. But, lately, I must admit, I am not praying that much or I haven't had a prayer for years now. I'm not sure.
I have this desire in my heart to be reconnected with Him but I just don't know how to start and I don't know where to go for that proper guidance. There are just too many to religious sect out there. It could be confusing...

yes i also have an experience of a miracle of rosary. My grandfather was having his heart by-pass operation.everything went well but during the midnight time we received a phone call from hospital that due to certain reason my Grandfather will have to be re-operated because of some internal body bleeding. It was difficult because in this old age he was getting operated for the second time in the same day.So we all got so much worried suddenly. We were praying but still we were not receiving some good news.So after finishing the Family prayer i just went inside a room and i closed the door of the room and i started praying on rosary while standing on my knees. As i was praying on the beads of rosary my belief and faith in God and Jesus Christ was getting more and more stronger. When i was at the last bead to finish my rosary, we received a call from hospital that he is out of danger now and his condition is ok now! Since that day i started believing in rosary!
really It has a great strength and power for the people who have faith in God and Jesus.

Hi shezi! That was really an inspiring story. Yes, the power of the rosary and prayer is really miraculous. If you are really sincere and faithful on your prayer, you will really be blessed and your prayers will be granted. Your story is really one good example. I'm so glad that your grandma has been saved from a very critical condition and she's been ok since then. It just proved that God is really merciful and He really listen to our prayers. Thank you for sharing. Have a nice day and God bless!

hi Harold I am not a Catholic but I do pray daily and know that in time he does answer our prayers, not always exactly what we want so much as what we really need. My son had beenwithout work for a year and a half and I prayed each day for him to get a good job. So two weeks ago on a wed he lets me know he was given a job by an old friend he used to work for 12 years ago. when he told this old friend he was out of work the old friend hired him immediately . So prayers are answered but not always quickly.

Hi Hatley! Yes, "God will really make a way when it seems to be no way". Actually there is a song with that line, and it is true. We should not give up, and feel down when our prayer was not been granted. God will grant it to us in the right time or in another way He prepared for us. God is mysterious. Sometimes He is giving us a trial, so we should keep our faith to God since He is our creator and He is also our savior. What happened to your son is a great example. You didn't lose hope and you kept your faith and you kept on praying, that's why God granted your prayer. Prayer is really powerful since it is the way for us to communicate with God. We should really pray often. Thank you for your response and for that great sharing. Have a great day!

Yes I have tried it but not often, there are just times that I feel like doing it. If you have asked me this 10 years ago while I am still in high school, then my answer is yes I often prayed the rosary. I don't know what had happened to me why I neglect to pray the rosary at night or even saying a little prayer before I sleep.

It is really sad to know that many people only pray on those times of trouble. Me, I often say a little prayer many times everyday but I seldom pray the rosary. But I can say that prayer is really powerful and when you are really sincere and faithful with your prayers, God will really help you. I hope your good practice when you were in highschool can still be back in your today's life. God is really the one that we can depend our life on and we should really do often pray. Thank you for your response. Have a great day!

I went to a school run by nuns where prayers and rosary served as our daily bread lest you'll suffer spiritual hunger- they'd say. Yes, I have prayed the rosary alone. We were taught in school that we do not pray only when we have problems. Praying everyday will keep bad things and devious spirits away- I used to say. Our common weakness is that - many of tend to ignore, forget, or take His existence for granted esp. during or at times when we are so worry-free- until despair comes knocking at our doors... and then we'd start running to Him again and again and back again but still never learning.... We keep repeating (the same) mistakes. I pray that you'll be given more good inspirations to continue praying and never tire... never stop. God Bless!

Do you still pray the rosary everyday? That's impressive. You must really be a religious person. To pray the rosary you really need time, patience and dedication for it. Me I do pray everyday, but I don't pray the rosary everyday. Yes, we really do keep on praying especially when we have intentions and we never get tired on doing it. For me, I think it's ok not to pray the rosary everyday, what important is we pray everyday using our own words, or some of those available prayers. Thank you for your response and God bless you too.

Yes I have... When I was young, I pray the rosary when I'm scared...:) When my parents decided that I should have my own room, I was nervous and thrilled at the same time. My room was comfortable but I had one problem, the knob was broken...:) Since, I still believed in monsters back then I found it hard to sleep. I resorted to praying the rosary to ease my fears.
