Shopping and Forgetting

I was in the store yesterday and I just went in there to get two things and ending up getting way more than just one thing, Does this happen to you? And one of the things I went in there for I forgot and ended up having to go to another store on the way home for the thing I forgot which was aspirin, and while I was in that store I found myself just wondering around from aisle to aisle. Does this also happen to you? I was just looking at things knowing I could not buy them, just looking and I did not realize hoe much time I had spent in the store, Do you think shopping like that helps with some kind of therapy to help us relax?

Yep this is always happening to me. I should write a list really, but since the last time I did this, I ended up forgetting to take it with me, I have not really bothered since. Sometimes I remember something just when I am at the checkout packing my bags, thats ok, if I have my eldest son with me, cos he can run round the store to get what I want, but more often than not I normally remember when I get back home.
I actually like shopping in general, especially if I am having a bad day, sometimes it is good to help me relieve my stress.
Retail therapy I believe they call it, and I am all for that, when I have some cash lol!

I totally agree I love to go shopping but have you noticed when we have money to go shopping we can't find anything and then we don't have any money there are always things on sale?

Yes, it happens to me and then I go home with things I really didn't need. I hate when that happens.

It happens to me occationally and Im agree with u that shopping is kind of relaxing. So when we are enjoying shopping or simply wandering along aisles,it's not a job.So...I think forgetting something is acceptable for me.If that thing really matters,a shopping list will do us a lot of favor I think.

I have tried the list thing too and I always end up getting more than what is on the list, I hate when it happens because I regret what I spent at the store when I realize how much I spent.
