Everyone usually enjoys holidays, simply because its a time where family members usually get together or friends/co-workers you haven't seen in years. It's usually a time of catchup. Well this 4th of July 2010 will be a very eventful, yet very memorable one for me and my family. We are planning to visit with family members and friends (that we haven't seen in over 8 years.) Not to mention is my son's birthday today! My wife's birthday is in 12 more days. So it's an all around birthday get together as well. Do you like holidays? What are your plans for this 4th of July holiday? No matter what you are planning/even if you're just going to chill out at home. BE SAFE, DON'T OVEREAT TOO MUCH BBQ! AND JUST TAKE A MOMENT TO ENJOY LIFE!

edwardjoy ~ That is such a good way to cultivate your relationship with your immediate family (your spouse). My hats are off to you my online friend! Yes, time away from the job is important. It gives you the opportunity to unwind and relax and for me and the type of job I do. It gives me a "mental" break!

As the catch phrase says "there is NO place like home?" Thanks for your comments.

I do not have a lot of plans yet. We have church in the park and a potluck on Sunday. Saturday night we have a community fireworks display. That is about it, I believe. I am going to go make a plan for the dishes for the potluck right now.

We are going to Indiana for a couple of days to visit my b/f's family and then the next days are me taking a relaxing vacation off work. I have taken an extra week just for that. We do plan on going to the local park where there will be music and fireworks on the 4th. Other than that I plan on relaxing by the pool and maybe painting a little too.
