The news took the side of the NLEX. It seems that she was given this privilege because she pushed for this project when she was the President. Clear case of corruption even if the amount seems small. Even NLEX did not realize the impropriety of this practice until it was pointed out to them. They said the Board will talk about this.
That was one clear example of politicians wielding their power. The people around GMA should also be careful because they will be under scrutiny too.

If you did watch it, then you should have heard NLEX's explanation there.
It's a privilege not a right and so NLEX, being a private corporation can award such privilege. I am not saying its right, but its the right of NLEX to do so, much like free coupons. The problem that I see is that it was given to her because she pushed for NLEX - which is a bribe and punishable by law.
The news said that an NLEX booth opened and then her car made a counterflow and sped past the booth. Seems to me that they have an arrangement and this was not the first time that GMA did this. It is wrong to do that but NLEX is not public road, and therefore they can basically make their own rules. GMA herself admitted not following the news and so she probably did not hear (or refused to listen) to Noynoy's admonitions.

I'd like to comment on this but it seems there's no proof for this claim. I tried to look for this issue on the net and I can't find any. If you can post the link to the article you've read or at least tell us where you've heard of this, it would be most helpful.

Now you can see her true color... She's a politician she should be a role model. This is one reason why people don't want her to run as a president again. She is disrespect the president.

Probably the reason why she did not stay in the inauguration because she knew will definitely be alluded to. I have to say that her driver still thinks that they are in power. I hope that one day someone will call her on her abuses, even if they are minor so that she will realize what kind of leader she has been - one that does not set an example and who thinks herself as above the law.

Just saw the video. o.O
She's not the president anymore, she should have paid.
Clear example of a corrupt officer.
