I own my own internet based business and I do freelance writing so I am happy to say I work from my own home so I have no commute, unless you count the couple of times I have to go to the post office a week. I just get up throw on my sweat pants, take my kids to school and then come and get to work. I love being able to work in sweat points.

It takes me about 40 mins. I go by bus, as it's the easiest way to get there. I either talk on my phone or I watched outside, as I find it very interesting watching people. This is something I have done from a very small age, I could watch how people act all day and although this might seem strange I like seeing how people get along and work together.

My company is right in the downtown core, and I live in one of the suburbs. So, during the rush hour, it can take nearly an hour driving to get to my work place. So, recently, with the gas prices rising, I decided to take he public transport. That's much less expensive, and takes about the same length of time to get to work. Many people are doing that these days.

Hello Cher,
It takes me two hours to travel to work and another two hours traveling home. I've been doing this for four years now and I think I'm used to it. I listen to music or read a pocketbook, or sometimes, I just sleep. However, my boyfriend tells me that we move closer to my job since he doesn't like the thought of me traveling long hours.
Cheers,
Honey

These days being a stay-at-home mother, my commute is nothing at all. However, before my son was born three and a half years ago, I did have a fifteen to twenty minute commute and during that time I would listen to Bob and Sheri in the morning.I loved listening to their chatroom and even though I don't work outside the house these days, I still listen to the through podcast because I really like their show.

Half a minute....My room is just next to my office. Thats an advantage a i dont have to tarvel long in the hot sun. The disadvantage is i have to work long hours...and have to rush to office even at odd times and even on weekends.

Usually it takes not more than 20 minutes... I need about 10 minutes to get to the proper busstop and then around 10 more minutes with the bus to get to my workplace and that's even if I get stuck in a traffic jam... Because of the short commute time I don't have to think about any means to amuse myself excluding having a smoke... :)
