What to improve on myLot

Hi myLotters, I just got few feedback from people that I referred to myLot and most of them said that the layout was confusing. To tell you the truth I can understand where they came from as when I started to join myLot I could not find my way around easily too (until now I am still learning!). I think there are few things that could help in improving this site such as perhaps a dedicated tab/ marking to notify you whenever someone has responded to your discussions and comments rather than receiving the notification from email, and a clearer or better transparency in how much do we actually earn. I am relatively new to the site so I may be pointing out the wrong things here. What do you think, do you have any suggestion of your own?

I wonder why so many people want to run before they can walk? When a user joins myLot they should take time to read everything official by myLot and then to open a few links and tabs and see what goes on. Only by doing so can we hope to understand what we can do here and make the most of our time.

Nope I don't work for myLot but I care for it one heck of a lot! I have been here over three years and I know that it is the only site where I will get paid each month for having fun. The features which i missing most in mylot is that one can delete his/her response or discussion that he/she post. Mylot administration should think about it and implement it as early as possible many times i need this thing because sometimes i do some mistakes while in response or in the discussion that i had post. Hope we will see this features as soon in mylot..

MyLot have given us the 'preview' button. It is up to us to use that before we submit our posts because they will not allow us to edit or remove our own posts. Can you imagine the problems that would cause concerning earnings? You post a response and while someone is commenting on it, you remove it - what would their comment relate to then?

talking about problem arising in earnings the mylotters who delete his/her discussion should bear it and mylot administrator should pay him/her according to that..

Does anyone know for how long discussions were kept on myLot? I have come across with discussions from a year ago few times. I think if no one responded after few months down the line, would it be better to get rid of it?

Herro halffull First off welcome to mylot. May you have the wonderful and educational experience that I have had at mylot since I came back. t took me some time to learn my way around, however, any new site takes some time to learn your way around. Some of my sites, I'll still learning. As far as a tab for discussions, I think the email method is better because a person can opt not to receive the emails. How would mylot personalize the tab for each individual? The method of earning is a mathematical formula. I don't understand how it works totally. I just key away starting, responding and commenting to others. Prosperous mylotting

All of the interests are created by the users and, in the same way that many do not check to see if their topic has already been discussed, they do not check to see if an interest already exists

Yes, you are right. I try to get a habit of checking the existing topics before starting a new discussion.

Herro halffull I found out the hard way why I have duplicate interest. When I am responding to a discussion, at the tail end I am asked if I want to join that interest group. I did not know It was duplicate interests. I now have 2money making. Need to go in and fix that. Now I usually say "no thanks". I always check to see if my interest exists and place my discussion there. Of course being the perfectionist that I am, I also do a search. Prosperous mylotting
