I was a single mum for 11 years, I cannot say it was easy, but the worst I had to try and deal with was the stigma, but I now have two beautiful grown-up young adults that I am very proud of. So all the heartache and pain paid off in the long run!

No I am not a single parent mystikel but I do think that some people are better off rearing their children without the other parent being around, if there is violence or something like that. The greatest majority of single parents are the same as any other parent, i.e. they love and protect their children and want the best that they can reasonably provide for them.
I accept that it probably is not easy bringing up your 2 children on your own, but I am equally sure that you are doing a good job as well.

I've been a single parent for 13 years. It's really hard doing it on your own.My family is in another country so I really AM doing it on my own.I've had some really tough times both financially and emotionally but my kids have kept me going through it all. Most of the time I have enjoyed being a single parent, but there have been times when I have wished I had a partner to help me out.
