Animals or people?

Am I the only one who thinks animals can be better friends than people on certain occasions? I'm not saying all the time, but sometimes it just seems like my pets treat me better than my friends. Do any of you myLotters feel the same? Have you ever had such an experience?

You know what is great about animals? They can't talk back. They can't argue or disappoint or reject you. When you really just need some companionship, animals can be better friends than people. We still the socialization and rapport with other people, but an animal will never let you down. They will always be there for you. Can the same be said of the people in your life?
