I want to have an exercise routine every morning

I really have to be disciplined on this one. My morning is just being spent, sitting in front of my computer doing online jobs, while drinking coffee. Or just watching the sun comes up, while drinking coffee. I am fully aware, that I need to lose some pounds and yet I am not doing anything to lose it. Is there a routine which you can share with me every morning. I want to sweat and tighten all the muscles and loose skin on my tummy and arms. Hey mylotters, care to share your morning exercise routine?

exercise is really good in our body coz it gives us stamina and away from illness, but control to your diet, it is useless to do some exercise if we eat too much...

Yes, I agree. If you have no control over your diet, it will be a never-ending cycle. You burn fats, then you add more fats again to your body. Simple Math. Subtraction, and then addition. Then subtraction again, then addition. And so on... subtraction.. addition.. subtraction... addition...

I have to lose some pounds as well. But morning's a rush for me. I have to wake up at 5, make breakfast for hubby who leaves for work at 6, then my girl will wake up by then, prepare breakfast for her, shower and send her to school. After that, I'd rush to work. If I'm not working or working a little later, I would walk back home instead of taking the bus. But it was not enough for me to lose the extra pounds. I tried jogging back home but was not very motivated. My suggestion is get an exercise DVD and switch it on every morning. I just bought a Pilates DVD in the hope that I'd spend at 20-30 doing some simple stretches and matwork. It will help tighten your tummy and arms. I used to do Pilates more often and I had a flat tummy and toned arms. Wheeee! All that gone now, so need to rework them all over again. There is one more muscle you should be concerned about - your pelvic floor muscles, and yes, pilates can help with that too!

You need to find an exercise routine that suits you and one that you enjoy or you'll never stick to it. I like exercise DVDs and vary them. Sometimes I do ones with light weights, other days I do yoga or whatever I'm in the mood and somedays,if it's way too hot, I just don't bother but I'll use my abs belt instead.

Hi, for me day starts at 5.30 in the mornng, I have to cook lunch and breakfast. So no sitting for me till 7.00 am. Have to send kids to school. Can't even go out for a walk. So I do some standing exercises like bending and stretching while the milk boils (hahha) I keep most of the items in the lower rack so that I bend and get up often. I jog on the spot and like. Its a good warm up for me. You can do some stretching exercises, skipping and on spot jogging, if you can't go out. if you have staircases in your house then you can climb up and down until you feel tired.

This might not be what you are looking for, but have you tried yoga and pilates? They are a bunch of slow moments, which is good in the morning I think, and it can work wonders, while still being suitable for both beginners and pros alike.

I don't believe that exercising everyday can cause any detrimental effect on your boy. As far as i know, exercise is essential to our body. Even old people need that. Sedentary lifestyle such as yours can lead to any unwanted disease or illness, or the simplest of it is being unhealthy. Exercise everyday is beneficial to our body, not unless if you own some illness that can cause exercise to be harmful to you.

hey that's good you asked all your buddies here at MyLot. The routine that you currently have is by no doubt a bad one. So i would suggest you to stop having coffee everyday. You can have tea or if possible please have one cup of milk everyday. Also try and wake up early in the morning. Go to sleep by 10 in the night and wake up by 6 in the morning. Go for a jog or go for cycling. The morning air and sunlight is good for health. Make sure you go early in the morning because if you are going late then there are chance that you may get polluted air to breath. Also when you come back home do some exercises that will help you reduce the skin on your tummy. All the best to you and be consistent. Don't stop this routine once you start it.

Personally I don't have an exercise routine in the morning because I don't have the luxury of time for it but if I do I would certainly be jogging in a park nearby and do some stretchings too. If you want to lose weight then I suggest you do cardio exercises like jogging, walking and running because it doesn't only help in burning fats but also its good for our hearts.

its nice to see that you are very much aware about your health...there is only one rule in india's old books of health and in all yoga books .....it says that exercise untill you start sweating......because sweating means burning of fats.....and one thing is more there you said that you wanna tighten your muscles....but it is not possible untill you burn all the fats on your body.....you will nice muscels only when your fats will burn out.....try any gym...or have a morning walk...these are some simple steps to lose weight....losing weight is very easy as compared to gaining weight.....i am a regular gymnast from last six months thats why i am replying on this hope this will help.......

i don't think that it's a good idea to exercise everyday, muscles need to rest. every other day would be better. as for the exercise, i am not sure. you could try "p90x", "truth about six pack abs" or some other program. right now i am looking into "fat burning furnace" but i have no idea if it even works.
