Hi,
Most definatly is the PC for me, laptops are so much smaller screenwise. And if you actually are a serious gamer, you will need to plug in a mouse and a keyboard. However, if you are just a casual gamer and actually do need to take your laptop around, then go ahead and buy it, but don't expect very high speed gaming.
Thing I like about my computers is yes ofcourse the bigger screen, but the fact that if I decide I need a new part, simple to buy a new one and put it on the PC. It's not as easy for a laptop.
Lee.

Hi, gunjandubey Welcome to Mylot!
PC for me too. Aside from the bigger screen and better audio, PCs do not turn hot as much as a laptop does. I am using laptop and when I am playing (even just Plants vs. Zombies), my unit gets so hot I have to stop playing or at least get an electric fan directed to it.
Have a nice day!

For gaming, of course pc's are better.. No doubt about that. I mean everyone knows it. But then, I use a laptop for gaming as it's portable so I can play anywhere with WiFi.. But it is slower though.. And then PC's have numpads but then there are certain softwares that allows you to use certain keys in your keyboard to act as a numpad. :D
Good day and Happy MyLotting!
By the way, there are gaming laptops and they aren't that costly..

PC, definately. I have a laptop right now, and I have absolutely no memory left on it. Why? Because of all the games I have on it. I need more memory to have all the games I want to play. Sigh... Waiting for the holidays or my birthday so I can get my desktop...

At the moment I am Gaming on a laptop, but I think overall a Desktop PC would be better due to the fact that they are more upgradable. With graphics cards changing as fast as they are now days, it is hard to keep up and most laptop graphics cards aren't upgradable.

its always pc for me. if both have par specs, the laptop will always be more expensive than its desktop counterpart. the good thing about having a gaming laptop is that you could bring it anywhere with a trade off hard upgrading.

I have a Windows PC desktop that I am using only for gaming -- I surf the web with a Linux netbook --. It is definitely best than a laptop for playing games. Windows is great too for new games : I have only a few classical games under Linux and I don't play them often.

i am not a regular gamer ....or not a hardcore gamer....i just play simple games like counter strike and max payne and gta series.....not regularly but very rarely.....so i would prefer to my pc to play those games because it feels nice to play games on big screen or monitor.....pc has more benifits for gaming and i think laptop is just for commercial use or you can say office use....

If you're a hardcore gamer I will recommend to use PC for you because most of the hardcore gamers looks for the quality of the game so they love wide-screen monitor, a superloud speaker and gaming keyboard as well, but if you're just a typical gamer I will recommend laptop for you because it consumes less electricity than PC.
