I was wondering if anyone knew any good places to get inspiration or writing prompts, mainly for non-fiction writing. I seem to be running out of ideas for articles and such... I'd really appreciate some help, and I'm sure I'm not the only one! Thanks!

I was on a writing roll a the other week when I started my journal entries with "I want to write about..." and then state why I wanted to write about those. I have a load of ideas in my head, but I wouldn't want them to fade into memory, so I just went and wrote them down anyway.
I searched the internet for writing prompts, and sadly, there isn't a definitive site for writing prompts. A lot of the search returns were educational sites involving teaching writing in the classroom. I think those would make great writing prompts.
There is one website that encourages writing prompts. You can go check www.sundayscribblings.blogspot.com They offer a prompt or a topic every Sunday inviting anyone to write and post about it on their blog and leave a link on the site. I haven't gotten to writing for their prompts in the longest time, but thanks to your mylot post, I think I'll go right ahead and do that! :)

I thought I saw that you were a member of Helium. I think you should get your ideas from there. With all the titles they offer, something should inspire you to either write or combine a couple of the titles and make a new one. You can use old article titles from other sites too.

I think you should look for a quiet place where you feel free, a place more naturally. This kind of place makes me have good ideas.
