Haha what a title, right? Well My husband and I are very very excited as we will not have to worry about getting furniture when we get our own place. Why you might ask? We'll have enough furniture from hand me downs. We'll be getting a love seat, hopefully a couch and chair, a dining room set, a bedroom set... haha, that's all we really need. So as you can see we're really excited, and we may be getting more! So what are you guys excited about receiving, or have you ever gotten lots of stuff like this? Mine and my husband's family both are a hand me around kind of people!

heyo!! I think that is very exciting for you scg. It is very much cheaper and you can also save much money from it. So you got a new place now? where are you staying? You told me last time that your husbands parents got a house at the back are you staying there?

yresh it seems I've confused you. We were / are moving things to a building we are renting for our stuff, it's being stored there. His parents do not have a place behind them, but we want to put a place behind them one day. For now we are discussing renting a place and saving up money to eventually find a place of our own to put behind his parents house.

we may rent, or we may just stay here, right now I guess the best thing for us to do is to just save, lol.

That is a good title, and it is really exciting that we found out we are getting all this furniture, and you left out the television stand, and an extra bed and we are looking into getting a storage unit so we can store the furniture which that will be more money a month we have to pay,and you think I would be stressed and worried about it but I am not,I actually feel good about it,just like I feel good about looking on craigslist.com for a new television for our room, and who knows we might get even more furniture,I love you with all of my heart and soul.

I know you think we would both be stressed but we aren't. I think it's like you explained it though, I mean while we are having to dishout more money, we are getting free stuff, stuff we won't have to worry about buying in the future. Also, once we get our own place that storage until will go bye bye. In any case, I hope to get a job as if I do we won't have to worry about the money, but in the mean time I am going to try to make as much money as I can.

It is good to get furniture now because it will be less of a hassle in the future and I know you will do your best online, and maybe you will be able to find a job soon so we can pay our bills and save money at the same time, and it sucks that we have to wait until after Tuesday to find out exactly which furniture we can get and how much room we will need to store it,and then we can get a storage unit and move the furniture in it.

I once lived in a basement apartment for afew years just after I left my ex. All of the furniture in this apartment were given to me free. The diningroom set was from my mother's garage. My living room furniture were from my ex's best friend and from my job. My bedroom set was given to me by the local good samaritan center.

Oh well it's nice to receive free stuff isn't it? I've never heard of the Good Samaritan center, unless it's a branch of the rescue mission or salvation army. We will be getting some more stuff too, we're very excited about it all.

When we first moved to the northwest we also got stuff from a lot of people. We were just happy to get our own place that we didn't mind that most of our furnitures were mismatched. Good that you're getting a lot of your stuff for free. No sense spending money for what would otherwise just be thrown, or recycled. Goodluck again on your move!

HI SCG! Do you mean to say that by quirk of fate or luck, you are going to get a furnished accommodation? Lucky you are SCG! If you happen to get a furnished accommodation, it will save your lots of money. All the best.

No, we won't have a place to live but we do have furniture for when we do get our own place to live, which is still a stroke of Good Fortune. Yes and it will save us some money, and we're very excited and pleased with that as it helps us not stress so much. Hope all is well with you and yours, Have a wonderful day.

Hey Cowgirl! You go gettum'! Get whatever you can! I know when I moved out into my apartment my mom gave me some stuff and I took it gladly! I still have some of the pieces now! I have the dining room table, a coffee table and 2 matching side tables, a long heavy cabinet that was for storage and had a bar or something. Now it is just for storage! The slowing I added a few pieces throughout the years and now I am adding some more! I have been living in my apartment for 30 years, so you can just imagine how old that furniture is if my mom had when I was young! But, it still is in great condition and looks fine with my modern additions~

My husband and I were talking to his mom today, and it seems like with all the stuff we are getting we can furnish our future home without any problems. We're excited about this as it means things we won't have to buy, as well as things we are used to and like. Old Furniture is great, I actually like the styles of some of the older furniture, and think in ways it's made sturdier then some of the stuff you can get today. I am sure your Apartment looks lovely with both the modern and older furniture, as with everything else, it seems styles come back around.
