Since I moved into the house where I am now back in October 2009, I have had a permanent box sitting at my front door (which I have just recently moved to the garden shed) of stuff to give away on freecycle...When I start decluttering, I just chuck the stuff to giveaway on this box & take note of it on a piece of paper & when I have enough or when the box is full (like it is most of the time) I advertise it on freecycle. My box has been full for a while so I have just re-advertised it so I can try to get rid of it...I have also given a deadline to pick up by July 11 (Sunday) & if anything is left over, I will be taking to the charity shop that is a 2 min walk away from me. Do you permanently have a box of unwanted stuff that you give away?

I do have. The neighboring town has a church ran donation give away where I can take my smaller items, and i sure appreciate the fact that someone can get more use of these items.

It's always good to know the things we don't use will go to a better home & that we're helping someone out :)

Yes! I take everything to Goodwill though. They recycle e-waste now too. Great way to put things back out into the world :D

WOW!! recycling e-waste! I wish I had something like that close by...I have a couple of old versions of Nortons antivirus that no one on freecycle wants!
