will twilight eclipse work?

Hi there Elvis Moraes 19! Yes! And I believe that it is already a hit. A lot of people are talking about it and this is what I got from the movie's homepage: Eclipse fell steep for its Thursday screenings, earning $24.4 million at the box-office. Though analysts were expecting it to drop from its front-loaded debut, it dropped 65% from Wednesday – the steepest on record coming from a Wednesday opening. So far, the film has grossed 92.7 million, still on target for a$110 M for 5 days and a total of $178 M for the 6-day holiday. It looks unlikely the film will beat Spiderman 2's July 4th record of $180M. But I heard that the movie earned way way more than the total expenses in making it.

I saw the movie and I really enjoyed it. I liked the first 2 movies but this one had a lot more action. I would not say it is the movie of the year but I think if you have read the Twilight Saga then you will enjoy this movie. Elclipse is my favorite book so I was really looking forward seeing it and the movie did not disappoint me. The important parts in the book were kept in the film.

i see that twilight is a big hit but not with eclipse. maybe people just got bored to them. but for me it always make me feel curious

i think eclipse will become a hit. i do agree that new moon was not directed properly and i was really disappointed upon watching it. they did so many changes from the book. i have read the series thrice and i think eclipse was better than new moon if you are to compare on how they have followed the book. i love the fighting scenes. i hope breaking dawn would do a better job as well.

Well, if by hit you mean popular, then yes. I think I heard it was the best outcome for a Wednesday box office premiere. And people are still lining up to watch it in theaters. I heard the midnight showings were all packed and pretty much every time I pass a movie theater, it's packed and I'm pretty certain it's because of the eclipse movie. I don't think these movies deserve so much attention, but I'm not a fan of the books, either, so I'm naturally biased when it comes to disliking those books/movies. I guess I can understand why kids and teenagers are prone to liking such stuff, but I really don't get the "twilight moms" and stuff like that. Like, really? You like this stuff? It's just a little weird to me, I guess. I heard an interview from that Taylor/Jacob kid, and he said during some autograph signing one mom wanted him to sign her underwear. Ew. How inappropriate. You're an adult, you shouldn't behave like that, the kid is like 17 isn't he? Ew. Ew. Ew. But yeah. Big hit.

I believe it's been a hit. I think it was much better than New Moon. The reason I didn't like New Moon was because nothing really happened in that one. After Edward left Bella was depressed for months....the action didn't really happen until the end.

hi there! ummm...it already is a hit. all four books are very famous books now. the first three are now box office hits. ;-)

Eclipse already is a hit. It grossed $30 million JUST in the first midnight showings. (Yeah... my own $10 is in there somewhere...) Personally, I loved Eclipse! I think it was the best of the series so far! I also liked New Moon. Why do you think it wasn't directed properly? I thought it was better than Twilight. It was a better adaptation of the book, and a better movie as a whole.

sure. people were lining up for it on the first day of showing. among the three, i like eclipse the best so far; am eagerly awaiting the last in the series.
