The state of California is set to pay its state workers minimum wage of 7.25 an hour. Based on a 40 hour work week the workers would make, $15,080 before taxes.
How does Schwarzenegger, or anyone expect someone to live on that? I challenge the governor to find a place to live, pay basic bills, along with clothing and feeding himself on that salary.
Now life has imitated art, Arnold really is the terminator.

I can't believe minimum wage is $7.25 in CA. I thought that $8 in Massachusetts was bad enough. I was in CA for a while staying with friends. That's one expensive state. I don't think it's possible to live on that money there. Maybe in a room (not a whole apt) or with roommates, but still it's going to be tight.

Hello vmenard,
what do you think? years of being an actor? and now a governor didn't even think about being a council or being mayor first.that's nothing, we had actors who became instant Senators but didn't do well in the debates when ever there's an issue or a law being discussed
