Playstation 3 What is the big deal?

Ok so it is new I still dont get what the big deal is all about! I mean it made my local news as the first story! Come on, it is just a video game. I think we can find more things to make local news that a game.

It's a PS3... it's better than the PS2... that's the big deal... lol

The way I look at it is this: Should be glad that the local news has this as one of their headlines and not something grueling or tragic that is breaking one's heart. I see your point though, but maybe that is the only news that they could find for others to chew on?+

i know there better thing to talk about then video games. they are trying to make more money that why i think they are doing it. i dont know why its a big deal with it. its only new so what.
