Why do people like facebook so much?

There is just something about Facebook that causes people to spend a lot of time on it. I have no idea why someone would spend so much time on Facebook but there are people who live and die by Facebook. In fact, if it went down for a day, some people would panic. Granted, I shouldn't talk, because the Internet as a whole is that way for me but still, while I'm on Facebook, I rarely get on there. I would hazard a guess that some of the games on that website would be rather addictive. Also, many people meet up and talk with their friends. I do every now and then, but at the same time, I tend to forget that Facebook exists a lot of the time. I can see why its popular but its never been something that I have spent too much of my life thinking about.

Although I like my friends I think Facebook is a great place to read Feeds and be updated. But again, I love my friends, LOL

I like facebook, as I find that it's a good and fairly easy way to communicate with your friends and such, and see what they're up to. This is the main reason why I like facebook.

For me, because it's in Facebook where I see my long time no see or hear friends. Through facebook we get to chat and exchange views on each other's life situations. I found almost all my close friends there.
