How many friends do you have in facebook? Is there a limit?

nice..got it now..5000 is the limit.......wow I'll never reach that limit.. actually they should lift off the limit..,,what is need for putting a limit.. sometimes they have annoying security features...security...checks...often looping ones..bad... thanks for the topic.. have a great day/night.....

i don't know what the limit is. but i've also tried to add my school as my friend, and i got the same response. i don't know how many friends i have now. i know i have more than 700, but i don't know what the exact number is.

i have around 200+ friends..and i'm not really the adding type..i prefer to approve friend notifications that to send one..actually i have another account for the people i've been meeting online and i have over 500+ friends there and i've also encountered adding one person and receive the same message..that person has 2,000 friends so maybe that's why..

I tried to do a friend request to a celebrity . . . and I got that same Facebook message. That person had just a tad over 5000. Now, I would think for the average person, they would never get to that point, unless they are adding anyone from left to right. I have close to 200 now - and all these people are folks that I personally know. I'm still far from 5000 and I doubt I'll get there.

I have more than 600 friends in facebook. I know most of them. I've known them in places I have traveled and also had the chance to spend time with them. I dont like adding people I dont know but I have added a few people because they are my "friends" in some applications I use in facebook.

Hi friend.;-) I have 300+ FB friends. Some of them I am truly acquainted and are my true friends. Others are just virtual friends,and as my network. I tried to add some really known personalities and they got like a thousand more friends. Some have a dual page because the first one they created has already reached the limit for accepting friends. I guess when the number of friends reached to almost 2000 then it is possible to add the owner of that page.

well, I have 143 friends on facebook and yes there is some friends limit in facebook. I don't know what the limit is but yes, i have seen many profiles which do not accept more friend requests.
