i must admit and hail the concept and story line of RK Rowling harry potter who has creatively comleted her collction int the end with some surprise and sadding result as she did not want to continue writting this series all his life. i have read only first two books and will see through the rest later. but i have watched all movies so no worries that i havent read these books but still books were far better than the movies as they used to skip some of the parts coz of technical problems .

Hi There, I have read all of the Harry Potter books and seen all but the last film which doesn't come out in the UK till later this month. I absolutely loved the books the whole idea was so unique when they were released and i found myself so absorbed by the plots and characters. I have to say although i enjoyed the films thay are no where near as good as the books masses of important parts of the books have been left out, which in my opinion is in serious detriment to the films. I do appreciate that to fit in all of action that features in the books would make each film about 8 hours long but there were some really important scenes completely left out of the films. To be fair i still intend to go see the last film in the cinema but i still urge everybody to buy and read all of the books to experience the full story.

Yes, I am a fan of JK Rowling. I have read all seven books several times. Before my collection was destroyed by flood, I always had a book beside my bed. I knew the book by heart and I even spotted the inconsistencies in the books as well as the movies. The books are better of course, but there are some things that the movie could have outdone the book. However, the movies failed to do so.

Hi, sarath Yes, the books are way better than the movies. I have read and re-read the 7 books over and over again. I am a fan. Not camp-out-of-the-cinema kinda fan. I just like the way it was written and I read one of them when I run of other books to read. I think it's sad that JK Rowling has stopped the story. Sad because we have nothing new to read about Harry Potter anymore. But I think the decision is correct. If she continues writing, there would be a tendency that she would overdo or that the story would become corny. So, I have to be content with re-reading the seven books. Have a nice day!
