Final of World Cup could be Germany vs Netherland

I am beyond upset that Ghana didn't go through, they should have but didn't. Would have been amazing but thats life, this World Cup is filled with shocks and I wonder if there will be any more. I feel Germany are going to go all the way and win this one.

I think Paraguay will finally lift the Cup ! To win a 90-minute 'war' a football team needs youth more than over-aged or aging star players' skill. Brasil lost to Holland not because of bad luck, but their team had full of such players who are still in the team on the basis of past glories. I will not be surprised if Dutch team wins this edition of WC. Best wishes for your favourite team. Cheers !

Germany is definitely the favorites right now after their showing against England and Brazil. But don't write of the Dutch and Spain. Remember Spain beat Germany in Euro finals 1-0. Having said that since then Germany has got better while Spain has gone back a bit, so I expect it to be a classic game. The Dutch are a wily team as are Uruguay. Everyone is writing Uruguay off which I think is not doing them great credit. As I write, Uruguay and Holland have both scored 1 goal and are tied at half time. Cheers! Ram

wakawaka, I am sorry to disappoint you here but I think a Uruguay and Germany finals is blatant on the HANDS...if you can catch my drift here. With FIFA just banning Luis Suarez for 1 match for his blatant hand ball, I am sure none of the 10 men in the line up would hesitate to handle the ball and prevent a certain Holland goal in the semis. Besides, what's stopping them, when they can be worshiped like heroes at the end of the day. Don't forget that we have a team that is playing without a sense of moral integrity here and the whole world is supporting it. I feel shame for FIFA when they bring out that flag of fair play since that fateful quarter finals.

I agree with you. I think Germany is the most favorite team that could win the World Cup 2010. They played very well against England and Argentina. Netherlands played well too but it was more lucky when beat Brazil. The fact was, Brazil dominate the game before Felipe Melo made own goal. Brazil played better but they can't control their emotional. If Germany consistent to their performance, they will win the cup.

I also like Germany team.The play very cleverly.Their goals are achieved mainly through accurate team collaboration. Their weakness is the lack of experience,as most of the players are quite young.They can played very well when they scored first.But I donot know what would happen if they face adversities. Spain is also a team of nice stlye.But I hope Germany will win.Netherland is likely to lose their next game.

I think Germany is going to win. I see that they're the only strong team out there this year, and they're dominating all the other teams. I just hope the final match is a good one, and Germany doesn't blow away the other team like 8 nothing. Ha ha ha!

Being in Germany, one can only go with the crowd and support for their players. All over here are soooooo supportive...every where i turn i see German flags - on houses, cars, fences, posts, on people, as in all over! We are hoping for the best to win ...and are excited for the next game vs Spain. Spain is also a very strong team and are respected. Whoever wins, is the winner.

I think the Germans played superior in their games that is why they are on top. They really played well and many of their games were lopsided against some of the powerhouse teams. They have the edge going to the semifinals. Spain is also a great team. They can stage an upset if they will play well. Most of the games by Spain were not as impressive with that off the Germans. If they will show what they are made up to, they can beat the Germans.

I think that Spain will beat Germany. Germany have been playing the best football but have yet to play a good defensive side, England and Argentina were terrible at the back. Spain beat them in the European cup final so why not in the world cup semifinal.

hm i too think there would be a germany holland final and germany will win against holland for 3-1 but there is a chance for germany vs uruguay also if they succeed in defeating holland . but i dont think that would happen. cheeers!!!
