Have you ever came across Korean music? I'm not asking only about korean pop (though it's the most popular)but also about underground genres. How are you discovering music of Korea?

There are a lot of good Korean rock bands and musicians that I've found online and through friends who listen to them. I really like the bands Nell and Nemesis. Seo Taiji is a very talented Korean musician that I've been listening to for years.

I don't know anything about the underground genres but I sure do listen to Korean songs, in fact ... my Ipod has more Korean songs than English songs. Their beat and melody ( Kpop music )is really so catchy that even though I don't understand their lyrics I enjoy listening to them very much!!!

Hi fornalina! I'm Japanese and my fiance is Korean. I was in Cheonan Korea for the last two months learning their culture especially the language and learning to cook their food. I listen to various Korean artist not only k-pop but also trot and slow rock. I like listening to Han Dong Joon, Rumblefish, Kim Jong Kook and SG Wannabe. Though Korean music really differs from the music I used to listen to, it's still very nice to listen to their music. Happy mylotting!
