Are you kidding? If I understand this right, that's 68 peso a kWh, which is $1.47 in US dollars. That's absolutely insane.
Right now, my electrical bill is $0.09 per kWh here in the US. That's about P4 per kWh to you. Your cost is 17 times higher than ours. What is up with that?!

Wow that is way too high, being one of the main producers of electricity since you have your geothermal power plant in there, how come your electricity cost is that high....
I have the same hope with you on that, P-noy seems to have many problems that he inherited from her previous administration. I think he should urgently address this problem because we are all affected by these increases in power charges. The masses could not simply afford the cost of power.

Bicolanos should be given the priority of enjoying lower electric cost since the source of our electricity is generated locally but as I have known it is not because they are delivered here in Manila before it reaches back to out province that is the reason for the higher cost of electricity.

yeah, i hope he'll take a look on that... you are right.. Pnoy inherited many problems from GMA... including millions or billions of dollars in debt..

I sure hope it won't last long there in Albay, nor will it be implemented here in Manila. That price is too steep and it's like robbing people out of their hard earned money. People might just revert to the old ways of bicycles and coal lamps.

We are currently paying more than P3000 for our electricity and I find it very expensive. How much more if I will be paying P6000, I couldn't afford it anymore.
Electricity expense is getting more expensive nowadays and we should start minimizing our electric consumption.

gee... thats quiet a big one you got their. Here in our place in Agusan del Norte we have P9 per kWh. but still a big one for us before it was just P7. Our usual bill before was around 2900, but not it reaches until P4000... its really big despite of the brown outs the bill is still big. I just hope the government today will take some solution to this matter.. Good luck to us Pinoys..
