who is your bet for this World cup?

Now we've come to the Semifinals, the last four, the cream of the crop for this year's FIFA world cup. The four teams that remained certainly do deserve to be there. Uruguay, being the last team standing coming from the South American continent will go up against 3 of Europe's powerhouse nations when it comes to football, Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands for the title. The game is still in the air really for there is no clear winner yet. Uruguay, a small nation yet produces caliber players like Suarez has lifted the trophy before same as Germany with its reputation as a very dangerous team to play against who also has won the cup. Now here comes Spain, who happen to win most of the football's tourneys such as the UEFA cup, but has never won the World cup will rely on the leadership and catlike agility and reflexes of its top-gun goalkeeper Iker. The powerhouse Netherlands, who happen to be my favorite team to win this world cup, will go all the way with one goal in mind, to finally bring home the much coveted title for the first time. And who also has skilled and talented players in its squad.
So i sure do hope that it will be the Spaniards vs the Dutch in the finals. Either team will make history.

I am seeing the Germans in the final. Looking at how they have demolished the Argentine, I am convinced that they will get passed the Spaniards in the coming days. With the kind of team work they have displayed against Argentina, I believe the Spanish side will have to double their effort in penetrating the German wall. Although, I am routing for Uruguay to face the Germans, I am adamant if they will be able to finish off the orange team considering how they played with Ghana which they almost lost.

I totally agree with you, the Germans showed superb football skills and teamwork against Argentina. A score of 4-0 is a humiliation really. So the Spaniards will have to step it up if they want to get past the German wall. Torres and co. will have to attack at will. It would also be a great match if the Oranje will face the Germans in the finals. Thank you for you opinion Sirrob.

I am seeing Spain winning this tournament because "La Furia Roja" is the best team here at the World Cup. They have an exceptional midfield with some incredibly creative players like Xavi and Iniesta and a fantastic attack!

Right now, the smart money is on the Germans, especially after their 4 goals against England and Argentina. But it would be foolish to write off the wily Dutch and the classy Spain. Spain vs. Germany would be a classic with the Euro finalists now meeting at the world stage. I am supporting Spain in this world cup, so want them to win, but I know Germans are the favorites.

That will be a very exciting game to watch. For me all the teams that have participated in the World Cup should be applauded for their great performance. They are all good teams of the best players in their own way. But of course there are others who are the greatest. I salute each team who have played in this year's world cup. But between Spain and the Netherlands i root for the Spaniards. Iker is our favorite here in our household, followed by David Villa and Kaka....may the best team win. Congratulations to the top 4,Spain, Germany, the Netherlands and Uruguay!!!!

Probably I am replying a bit late to this post but it seems Spain time has come to lift the World Cup trophy this year.Sure,Netherlands are looking good but not good enough to stop the rollicking and rocking, power packed Spain.David Villa,Puyol,Xavi,Ramos,Iniesta...I think there is an endless list to contain.Its time for Sapniards to celebrate!!

Right now after the semi final line ups I think Germans are the most deserved team to win this time...After thrashing Argentina in that manner and changing their traditional game which they were used to for the last few decades they have achieved success in no time...Come on Germany!!!!! You can win this time!!!!!!!!You have Klose and Podolski in your team.....they can tear any defense apart if they are in form.... Else I will bet on the Spanish team....having in form Villa they can too win the world cup...they are facing each others in the semi final so whoever wins this semi final can win the final too...lets see...Happy myLotting!!!!!

same here dutch vs spain but i have sweet feeling that uruguay wil win it if they pass the semis cause this worldcup already got severe dramas happening

I am betting on Brazil and Argentina. Both of this teams bowed from their respective opponents. Now, that this two teams made an early exit, I would pick Uruguay to win. I guess they were not really highly-touted as that of their neighbors in South America but they played tough. Of the four teams remaining in the world cup, uruguay is the least expected to make it into the final four showdown. They will play Holland next. If they will win over the orange team, I think that they will capture the title.
