What is the maximum message storage capacity of your phone? There are number of good mobile phones with a huge capacity of storing sms. I have one and I have not yet seen the maximum capacity of the message storage. There are more than 5000 sms stored in my phone but the phone has become slower. What is the max capacity of your phone.

2gb = 2,097,152 Kilobyte Assuming that: 1 SMS = 1 KB 2 GB equals 2,097,152 SMS. However before we reach that amount we will find our mobile phone to react too slowly and will never reach that amount of saved SMS.

My N6120C has more than 2000 text message storing capacity. My china phone has 160 message per sim. I like phones with large message capacity because I am a sentimental person and likes backtracking of messages.

My phone has a huge storage capacity because of the fact that there is a slot on my phone where I am able to insert an SD memory card. If it wasn't for the SD slot on my phone, then I know that the memory capacity of it was only about a half a gig of memory. I'm not at all sure about what this equates to in terms of the number of text messages that would mean I would be able to maintain on my phone and it still operate correctly.

Tje current phone I have claims to hold 500 messages, but when I reach 400 it usually says my inbox is full and to deleted some of the messages. So I don't know. I usually delete once a week and start clean. That way I don't run into that problem.

Well now a day before buying a new cell phone you can see the specs and try to compare. On the SMS storage must cell phones will say "unlimited" they store on the extrernal memory. And buying a cellphone with at least 4g will save a lot. Also try to do a back up if you will need that info on the future if not, let go and erase them Cheers !!
