If you're true to yourself...the answer is YES.
Others may hate you for being real but that is the only way to gain real friends.
For me, you don't have to please anyone/someone just to make friends with them.
You should not change your personality just to suit them.
If you don't have so many friends right now, that shouldn't bother you.
It's better to have 1 real friend rather than pool of fake friends.

I totally agree with you. I'm one of the person who doesn't have many friends but have a few that I really can call friends. They know my personality so well that nowadays, they can easily joke about it...and I'm happy with them. I don't really mind not having a lot of friend to socialize with as long as I have enough time to do what I like and enjoy like MyLotting hehe... I hate it when I have to pretend to somebody just because that person can't accept me for who I am, who cares. They can always leave me alone and find other friend which they can accept easily.
Good day to you and happy mylotting

It is said that if you go through your life and find one good true friend, you are very fortunate. I agree, never chage yourself just to please someone else, you must always be true to yourself, and more importantly be friends with yourself, and everything else will fall into place.
