Im based in the UK and over here Twilight Eclipse doesn't come out until July 9th, Im very excited I hadn't seen any of the Twilight movies until a few months ago when I stumbled onto the first movie on sky I watched it and now I am totally hooked!! Weirdly a few days after I watched the first movie, New Moon came out on DVD so I skipped along to the shops like a 12 year old and brought it (the first DVD I have brought in well over a year)
So far I think I have watched the first two films about 20 times each and of course I had to buy the full saga in books which I read in two days. Im totally hooked I love the books and equally the two films I have watched so far, but this is ridiculous im 26 im married im a parent and yet I adore this saga essentially aimed at a tween market.
What does anyone else think am I the only adult out there who loves these films???
PS im team edward!!

I don't consider myself a Twihard and I'm 33. There are people even older than me who and men in my age who are huge fans of this saga. I saw Eclipse a couple days ago and I absolutely loved it. I'm team Alice and Jasper :P

Gemma, it is not ridiculous. These books cover things that interest and draw people of different age groups. I'm not sure how anyone could think that only teens would be drawn to a story like this. Just because the main character is a teen? I think not. We were all her age once. Keep enjoying the books.

I must be one of the few exceptions to the rule because I've neither read the books nor seen the movies. Although I'm sure that they're great, I've been a little put off by the constant hype surrounding the series. Perhaps it's time for me to see just what it's all been about and discover if I too get caught up in it.

I was not sold on Twilight when i first heard about the movie. My daughter and her friend went to see it, It is all they tslked about for weeks. I soon became hooked on twilight after seeing the movie. I have seen Twlight and new Moon several times now. I am more of a Twilight fan each time that I see the movie. I am anxious to see Eclipse. I hope this not the end of the Twilight saga. It would be so disappointing for many Twilights fans everywhere. I am also definitely for team Edward!

The movies are not that good but the books are just wonderful. I have yet to get my hands on those books. I would be watching eclipse and hope this movie gives justice to the novel

It isnt surprising that you are hooked especially that you are a women and i assume you are one =) Im not a Twihard thought and i was able to watch all 3 films since the 3rd one is out where i am located, because of my girlfriend who wanted to watch them. The 1st episode was very good start but the second one made me give a thumbs down. Suprisingly, the 3rd one was a good comeback and i enjoyed it. I am looking forward to watching the coming episodes of the saga. Enjoy watching the 3rd episode when it comes out, you wont regret it!

i was a massive twilight fan about a year before the frist movie came out, i got bulliedterribley for it, now they all like it and me not so much, i just think the films really were bad, and like you im uk based so ive only just seen eclipse today and have to wait till friday too see it again for a second opinion but i found it was better than the other 2, kristens acting skills seem to have improved, but then again that wouldnt exactly be hard.

I know someone who really loves twilight. I adore the story though. It is an ageless love story and has some unique moments all in all but I'm not much of a fan. Haven't read all the books but my friend did. She says she liked the movies more than the books but I personally think the books were better.

Don't worry, you're not the only adult who loves Twilight. I am 25 and enjoy the Twilight saga. My mother is in her 40's and is also thrilled by Twilight! I absolutely love the books. I am not a big reader, but I found myself unable to put these books down! Since I love the books so much, I have an overwhelming need to not only see all the movies, but to own them all as soon as they become available! My husband is 26 and is also a fan. I saw Eclipse 2 days ago and I think that if you liked the other 2 movies, you will love this one!

No, you're not the only adult out there who loves the films! My 60 year old father likes Twilight. (I had to force him to read the book, but he liked it of his own accord!)
I'm 19, and I love Twilight! I'm not one of those fans who runs around screaming, and I don't watch the movies for hot guys. I actually really like the story! I was a fan of the books before the movies started coming out, and I've liked the movies so far. I think Eclipse was the best! I saw it at a midnight showing last week.
Personally, I don't care what market a book is aimed at. A good book is a good book no matter what age it was written for. I still read lots of children's books right alongside all my 800 page adult novels. I actually prefer movies made for kids over movies made for adults. Why put an age limit on who can enjoy a good story?
