What video game has impacted you more than any other? As for myself, I greatly enjoyed Final Fantasy 12 for the PS2, I would have to say that it's most definitely my favorite game. For those of you unfamiliar with it, it's an RPG set in the Final Fantasy universe, it's pretty out there so to really understand it I would recommend you play it yourself. I still replay it from time to time, despite having beaten it several times already.
What's your favorite game? What system is it on and why do you like it?

I would definitely have to say the MMORPG Everquest. It was there years before World of Warcraft and it will always hold a place in my heart. I played it all through middle school and random years here and there during my high school years and though I haven't played it in a long while and the graphics are outdated, it still holds a place in my heart. I even actually look to eventually resubscribing to my account, even if it does end up only being for a month or so.

My all time favorite game is probably Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic game. I love playing it, it's fun, the story is really good and since there are multiple endings there's plenty that I like to replay.

Dude, I remember back in the day, the game that has impacted me was Parappa the Rapper on Sony Playstation. In 1996, that was like the best game ever for me, lol. It was a game that had two dimensional characters in a 3-D world and It was about a rapping dog whose catchphrase was "I gotta believe!", and the storyline was about him rapping through stages with anthropomorphic teachers like a karate sensei who's an onion, a driving instructor who is a moose, a flea market salesman who's a frog, etc. hahaha. It was a game that involved button presses to the same tempo as the "teacher's" tempo, so rapping in the same tempo as them. It was a unique game of it's time, and I still like to play it currently.

For me, i have lots favorite game. But for the sake of your question, i will pick one of my favorites. So maybe i'll go for Devil May Cry Series, especially Devil May Cry 4 of PS3. Well, what can i say about it? I mean man, its totally freaking awesome, the stylish beat em up is fun, the swords, weapons and skills are dynamic and flexible, the graphics is hot, the CGI scenes are mind blowing and man what else can you say to Dante? he's just too cool and Nero the new kid was great too.
Thanks for the topic
Much respect

A lot, actually. I like lots of action-pack games. The Final Fantasy one is really cool..as well as this new game if I'm not mistaken the name, Left to Die or something. I agree with Ramsesxlll that Super Mario has got to be one of the most awesome games ever made.

For me it's Datona, I only played in Game Centers.
It was fun not only because I love race, but I would beat 4 to 7 boys that would come play with me and they got REALLY angry to loose for a girl.

Final Fantasy 7...It was one of the first rpgs I played and it sure was one of the best and was what impacted me to love gaming a few years back. Pretty good graphics for its time and well it had a good storyline and a heartbreaking scene as well. The ending could have been better though.

yeah, this is a very tough question to answer since new games always do come out.
But right now, i would have to say the Prince of Persia Sands of Time Series (Sands of Time, Warrior Within & The Two Thrones).
It is mainly because this game re-invented Action games for this generation and really influenced Combat Scenes for future Action Games.
Another reason is also because of the storyline, i know most will comment that there really isnt much story for this game but I really liked how the Trilogy ended/started whichever it is because it actualy started again at the end. confusing huh?
And finally of course the setting of the game, the atmosphere, really awesome.
I haven't seen the movie yet hope it's good. :)
