Is online the solution?

There are quite a number here whose main aim to be online is to earn. If these earnings are their only earnings are there no better options for them? It is true that many are jobless but what if they start using their creative talent and start may be a small business which could perhaps be a better option to get more money? What talent do you have that can be your possible 'Eldorado'?

I think on line earning should not be the only source of earning, as it cannot be a regular affair and one need to work very hard to earn a decent monthly earning. I already have a job and working on sites like mylot etc. is like a hobby and I do not participate in discussions for the sake of earning only.

You would be surprised how many 'live in hope and die in despair' spending countless hours on the Net. You are right one cannot depend on these earnings for their survival as not only there is no security there is no opportunity for long term occupation either.

I think this depends on the amount of their online earnings. There are many like myself that have been doing this successfully for years...paying our bills, buying groceries, saving for a rainy day. This is our job...we put in the time and effort and we have been able to earn from home as opposed to offline work. We are also always looking for the next project that will increase our earnings even further. Also another thing to factor in is that some countries need far less money to live on day to day....online earning is a wonderful option for many people

Glad to meet you here workingmom! A totally refreshing experience listening to you, honestly![em]happy[/em. To think that you depend on online earnings just as anyone would depend on their 9 to 5 job is truly encouraging but it is difficult to assimilate the fact that it is a cake walk doing this. I was wondering about its safety and guarantee when countless of those who offer opportunities vanish into thin air. Have you had that exeperience and how did you cope with it?

Thank you. No the last 10 years have not been a cake walk...the first year or so was frustrating as my online earnings weren't growing as fast as I would of liked, but, I hung in there. There are many programs that have been paying their members for years...these sites never applied direct referral caps and have multiple levels of referrals...they are my strong base. And over the years I have been able to add new stable and legit programs to this list. There are many newer programs (even neobux is considered new to many of the old timers)that do quite well. But, if a site such as gagabux goes under. It is not the end of the world as it is just one program. I never invest my own money...so I don't lose my own money. I am waiting on my 4th payment there, so even if they don't pay me again, I come out with profit. I also am very selective as to what programs that I decide to join. Most are obvious scams or definitely leaning towards scam. That is why research is so important. There are many sites that have "expert" status on what sites are scam or not according to their opinion. They are good to use as part of your research...but don't rely on them totally. I would of lost money if I had. I have been doing this so long that I am able to make my own judgments. I also take the time to help others and answer their questions. That was part of the reason that I added a forum to my website/blog. It was another way to communicate with people. I guess it boils down to doing your research and not worrying about 1 or 2 programs closing....just keep adding to your legit base list. And you will see your earnings grow month after month. Happy Earnings

Patience is the name of the game! There is so much of independent research one needs to do and I also feel there is an element of risk involved in online efforts as those promising the 'Eldorado' suddenly vanish!

I think the reason why some prefer to work online is due to the fact it does not have any travel expenses, we are able to work on our preferred time, and we have more options to choose from as it connects different jobs all over the world. It is great to do business and I am also planning to do one. The only problem is that we should have enough capital to sustain our creativity.

My problem at the moment is that I have many talents, but not one of them am I more passionate about than the others. How should I go about doing some soul searching for this?
