Really nophie, I hate waiting for it's a waste of precious time. Sometimes we consume hours of time for the silly wasting. I like going on foreign vacation but I hate to spend at least a couple of hour hanging around the airport. I couldn't concentrate fully on what I'm just trying to do it to kill the boredom while waiting. Yeah, I play games on my cellphone or read the book I bring along there. It's actually not enjoying the real fun of playing or reading while waiting
While waiting, time seems passing extremely sluggish. Yeah, it's just the same as while waiting our turn to see doctor in the clinic. Or to wait the hairdresser to get our hair cut in the salon. I read the magazines available there and it's really sad that I couldn't engross in what I'm reading genuinely. I just do the browsing page by page without reading them interestingly like what I'm used to do at home
Happy posting

I am at work right now and I am waiting for a customer. Or another employee to drop by and say hello. Or for the world to end. Whatever. I am bored out of my mind at work. For some reason the company I work for is open on July 5th (whereas a lot of places are not!) and I am stuck working the morning shift. We have been open for about 1 1/2 hours and I have not had one customer since. It's pretty sick. I have been going online, on ChaCha, MyLot, and various survey sites, trying to make some extra money while I am stuck at work doing nothing. LOL. I should have brought a book, though!

Hi nophie, I have to admit that waiting is not really my favourite activity but I know clearly that it is a common thing to happen in life everyday. So what I do to kill my boredom while waiting for something or someone, is playing games on my phone. Well, lucky that I have this very good games called mahjong. Having my ipod with me is very important too, at least i don't concentrate on getting angry after waiting for so long haha! I know the feeling of waiting so well so I try not to make other people to wait for me, that's why I always end up by being the one who is waiting :-(

I tend to get up and pace a lot when I am bored at any time, whether I am waiting for anything or not. There is just something about pacing that relaxes me for some reason. I have no idea why. I just tend to enjoy pacing and it eases my mind a lot. Of course, it drives some people absolutely insane, but too bad for them. Maybe if I did not have to wait, then I would not pace.
Sometimes, I do enjoy reading if there is quality reading material available. I notice that at least around here, waiting rooms tend to have the worst possible magazines available or at least none that catch my interest. Of course, staring vacantly in the ceiling tends to work wonders for a few minutes. Boredom is a horrific thing and when we wait, time tends to crawl by in an absolute slow manner.

I usually text my friends and see which one of them are free so that i can talk with them. If there is no one i would just have some fun with the music or watch a new film in my cell. I love to read books also and I also do that in my free time. Usually i am not always free.
