I believe everything happens for a purpose. That even in our failures, God wants us to fail because He wants us to learn something. If we are in a situation that is so hard, God already had planned that for us, for our own dealing. I think everything that has happened to us and will happen is already planned out. Even our failures, our mistakes.
What about you? do you think God is a sovereign God.?

I believe in a God who knows everything and who is able to do everything, He is quite perfect. But apart from that, he gave us a mind (a brain) to think and the freedom to take our decisions on our own. During our life, we have to be responsible of our acts, so we have to think about what we do. I don't believe that our life and our acts are already planned. If so, life wouldn't have got any kind of sense.

It is definitely not...(my opinion) God doesn't want us to be a failure. It is us who designs our future through our actions and if we did wrong maybe God "ALLOWS" for life lessons but not "DID". YUP! everything was planned but not certain. God can change it when you see what he tries to let you see.SO let God be the CENTER.

I don't believe there is a god that would fit your definition. Your stated idea of a sovereign god is a copout. If all is predestined than you have no responsibility for the actions you take in your own life.
