For him to love you more, you have to spend more time with him. You should take him with you when you go in different places, so he will know you are a team. You should also try some obedience classes or join an agility team. When you do things together with your dog, the bond between you become stronger. No matter what you do together - training, agility or just playing, he will be happier to be near you.

just show your dog a lot of attention. play with him and pet him as much as you can. dogs aren't hard to love and they'll love you if you show them even a little bit of attention and love.

I don't like dogs actually. We have 2 dogs in our house but the owner is my teenage daughter. I want to get rid of those dogs and I got irritated every time I hear them bark. However, I realized nowadays that they are useful to us in times of need. They are really the best guard to our house. Thief shy away upon hearing them bark. Our neighborhood were apprehensive with the proliferation of thieves in our vicinity. One unforgettable experience is when one medium-sized snake tried to enter our house but one of the dogs attacked and killed it. Just yesterday I discovered that our smaller dog can sing. My nephew that time was using his flute in the playground and I personally saw and heard the dog hum a long fluctuating sound in higher notes. Isn't it amazing. Now I'm beginning to love our dogs.

We have 3 dogs at home, I can say we, the family members have equal treatment for them as to love and attention. My brother is the one feeding them everyday. But I am really amazed that all 3 dogs really respond well when my mother is the one calling them. I guess maybe its with the time she spent with them. She's the one mostly at home, so even though she doesn't give attention to her, they know she's always with them. I suggest you keep your dog company most of the time, if they feel secure , then they would cling to you more. That is why they are known for their loyalty to their masters. :)

Well, I don't understand how you are supposed to love your dog, I cannot give you an advise how to love him. I mean you love him or you don't love him. I can't give up a tip. About that he loves you. Well, if you show him your love he will return it. Dogs can be real friends, more than some humans, remember, even if you do not believe, if you spend a lot of time with your dog, feed him, play with him, you will love it (of course if you love dogs) and he will love you back. You will be best friends. I hope it will happen like that

I think the best way to love your dog is to show him/her alot of attention. I personally cuddle with my dog all the time. She is always on my lab and wants to be there. She often runs and kisses me when I come in the house. This could be because I show her alot of attention and even kiss her on her farhead. Dogs can tell when you love them. So i'd recommend cuddling, playing with him/her (teach him/her fetch), even reinforcing him/her for the little things.

You can give your pooch more love by giving him the gift of discipline and training by buying good books about dog discipline training. My dog Dave, which is a Mozart, was trained to buy from the store for me, too bad he passed away last 6 years ago. i missed my pooch... Happy Mylotting!!

i think the best way to make a bond with your dog is to show him/her a lot of attention. play with it often, and don't get scared when it tries to bite you because it won't; it'll just put your hand or something into its mouth and that's it! my younger sister and our dog are really close, sometimes it scares me when they "play" but i'm used to it now. i guess you have to show the dog that you are open to its idea of 'fun'. haha
