Everyone has got World Cup fever at the moment it seems. I personally was never really into soccer- it's not that popular in Australia. However my favourite sport to watch is the American Major League Baseball! Baseball is even less popular in Australia than soccer but for some reason I have always been drawn to the sport. Luckily one of the sports channels here has been playing the games- some of them live. Do you follow sport? What's your favourite?

I am a sports buff. Actually was in a varsity basketball team back in high school. I was also good in badminton, ran kilometers, and did some laps. Through the years, I had enjoyed watching the Celtics, the Bulls, the Bucks, and the Lakers. But that is over and done with. So with tennis. I got bored, I guess. World Cup is the thing of the moment and I am having a great time. And I am still much up beat with our local volleyball.
Please, what I don't understand is why they air golf championships on tv. I don't even see it as a sport. It is walking with twists and turns!

How did you get into following Baseball? That is not popular here at all really! I am not into soccer either. There is not enough scoring in it for my liking.
I am into Aussie Rules Footy in Winter, Cricket in Summer as well as motorbike road racing. I never miss a MotoGP race or a World Superbike race. I record these each week and have been doing so for about 15 years now.

I was a big fan of motor racing for most of my life.
So much so that I created a very popular website "Mad about Bathurst", where the fans of my generation can buy the old Bathurst races from me.
I recorded every Bathurst race on video along the years, and in 2006, I had the genuis idea to transfer them on DVD and sell them on the internet. I am the only guy in the whole of Australia distributing them.

Baseball is my favorite sport, followed closely by football. American football, that is. I don't like soccer. The New York Yankees are my favorite MLB team. Derek Jeter is my favorite player. I've seen the Yankees play several times when they came to Texas to play the Rangers. Texas is close to me because I live in Oklahoma. So after baseball is football, and then basketball is my third favorite. I like watching basketball, but it isn't even close to be my favorite as the other two.

I don't know how to box professionally but I am a boxing fanatic. On Sundays between 10am and 1pm, boxing is always what I search in my television set. But if there is no boxing event, even the old ones being shown in the sports channel will surely not escape my eyes. I like tennis too, and basketball, and in world cup football, I watch matches when Netherlands, Brazil, England or Italy are competing.

I love gymnastics, especially artistic (the flipping kind). My favorite event is beam or floor. I managed gymnastics in high school. I've lived the sport since forever.

I used to love watching American baseball,Roberto Clemente was a favorite of mine, but now the games take so long to play, over 3 hours for many games, I have lost interest. Nothing has been really done to speed the games along, and I am just not pleased how the sport has progressed. I still follow from a distance, but now I like American football as my favorite sport.

The only time I follow sports is when it is a world wide competition, like the world cup, or the olympics, and only because so many nations are competing. I cheer fir Canada and Denmark.

Being a Aussie as well I do not follow the soccer at all. I am into the tennis at the moment . I will only watch it when I know it is going to be a good match , or the Australians are playing as it is on so late, or I will record it and watch the match the following day.

I like basketball. I love to play basketball but I don't have a chance to watch basketball on TV since we only have one TV so I always let my son to choose his favorite. I used to follow NBA league when I was in college but it was five years ago. Since I have a job and have children, I prefer to keep an eye on them. At the moment, I watch FIFA world cup 2010. I enjoy it even though I have to sleep lately.
