They said that your first work is always your best because it says something about you: Of what you see and of what you care about.
So, you gotta follow your heart. You always follow your heart!
Wanna share about your first work? How does it made you feel when you got it?

I hated my first job. I worked in a bar for three nights per week to help pay for my college life but it was so dull and boring and the money wasn't great either.

Hi Carly,
My first job was as a call center agent.I worked there for a year and a half and it was such a wonderful experience. I remember my first day, I did my best to look really good. Made friends and that was the start of it all. I miss those days. :) Enjoy your day at work.
Cheers,
Honey

My first job was being a call center agent for a company I had been eying on since I was in college. I remember applying to that company when I was in third year college because I wanted to be a working student then. I remember at that time, I was not accepted for that job. After graduating college, I tried my luck on the same company again and I was accepted!
I has a wonderful time because I enjoyed training days a lot. I met a lot of new friends who have been so good to me. I learned a lot about customer service and good ethics and those are what brought me to my next job after that. LOL. It was such a wonderful experience.

My first job (which has outlasted many other jobs) I am still working at, and it actually has nothing to do with my heart, more like my wallet. I don't have a choice in working here - because I need money, it's easy, I have some seniority, and I just need to pay my bills. It's hard to choose a GOOD job with no experience and little education that you can consider "ethical" or "moral". *shrugs*

My first job was just writing down football (soccer) results for the local newspaper. The results would come through on the radio, I would write down the scores on a piece of paper, then the paper would go to the typists to be written up into the newspaper!
After that, I had a couple of part-time jobs as a teenager. I worked as a waitress in a restaurant and also in a bookshop on Saturdays.

hmm... not really... my first job is a technical support rep, so it's a call center job which is booming here in the Phils. I accepted the offer because i was thinking during those times that instead of not having a job, why not try this. I only lasted for 3 mos. and now, i'm glad that I am employed in a more reliable company, with a much better position.

It did not work me really with my first job. Even if my first job was in line with my course, I cannot consider it as my best job. Most of the time, the first job that you will land on is not really good, just for the sake of having a job. Because sometimes as newly graduate, you really can't be so choosy with work because of none experience yet. I consider my last job as the best job because of good salary, good working environment and good people.

My first job was as a waitress at one of the known resorts in my city. I was obliged to it since it was a placement from my college, I only get paid for some little allowance, and the rest go to my college fee. Very sad :-(
But, while on my placement, I actually beat the permanent staffs for becoming the employee of the year, so I felt great woohoo..! But I left after the contract finished instead of renewing it, because the pay was still too low even after becoming a permanent staff :-(
