Do you use hair gels to style your hair?

Hi, I don't have those hair gels to style my hair. I don't like the sticky hair and my long straight hair does not need all those at this moment. I remembered when I was in my primary,I did use hair spray for my fringe and when I look back at my old picture,I was laughing at myself. How can I look so funny that time.I styled my fringe using hair gel. My husband always use hair gel for his hair and I advised him to wash it out everyday,or else, it will be very dirty.

I don't use any gels. I barely use any product in my hair at all actually. What I do use, however, is simple hairspray on my bangs to keep them out of my face. My hair is longer for a guy and so I sort of brush my bangs to the side and hairspray them in place. Most product that you put in your hair for holding and styling, unless EXTREME isn't going to severely damage you hair. On the contrary, a lot of product is actually used to promote healthy hair.

i dont use anything except shampoo and conditioner...for special occasions like party etc..the beauticians spray something to let your hair remain in the same position...but i have not bought it personally

I did use hair styling gel once or twice(once during my marriage ), yet I do not use it regularly. I am not sure as to any disadvantages associated with the hair gel, yet I have a feeling that its overuse could be bad for our hair.
