Vuvuzelas, long, plastic horns used by fans at the World Cup,have been banned from Wimbledon by the All England Club, the Daily Telegraph of London reported. The droning horns, which have been almost omnipresent during the football matches in South Africa, were banned amid fears that they could distract players. what did you think about Vuvuzelas when you watched matches? is it good for match or not?

Most of the players have termed the vuvuzelas as foul and rotten. I feel vuvuzelas should be banned from football matches. Firstly they make a sound which is of higher decibel than the referee's whistle. Their sound makes it very difficult for the players to concentrate on the match. It's not only irritating for the players but for the television viewers from all over the world. This will drive away the sponsors from the game.

I think vuvuzelas should be banned because the players can;t communicate to each other on the pitch and it also getting on your nerves if you are watching TV. FIFA should take action immediately after the World Cup.

For a long time this discussion has raged on the vuvuzelas. FIFA was looking to ban it as it interfered with the TV presentations. But then South African committee put its foot down that Vuvuzelas are part of South African football and they will not allow for it's banning. I quite agree with it. I think the point of taking tournaments to different countries to experience it the way of the locals and so Vuvuzelas are just fine by me. Cheers! Ram

I think it is the representative thing for the Africa. It is interesting, although it may be nosy. Since I watch the World Cup from TV, so I don't think its noise is very bothering. It may be quite different in the live court. However, I think this can create an exciting match feelings. The soccer needs more passion. I don't think vuvuzelas should be banned. I love China

I think that is should not be banned. It is annoying at times but it gives so intensity not only to the players but also to the game. we all know that football is a sport that only scores minimum amount of goals. Even if the games were without a goal, with the Vuvuzelas, the intensity of the game still remains.

I think that it added a good atmosphere and they will be remembered as well as the world cup to represent south african football.
