a dinner date with my former classmates

hi mylot friends,
i just want to share with you how happy i am to see my former grade and highschool classmates tonights. we had a dinner. they made me so special. my seatmate nora aside from the cravings dinner treat even gave me a victoria secret collection miniature perfumes (7 different cutie bottles). jane also treated us figaro coffee after that sumptous dinner. they just let me enjoy the night. i will be in-charge next date hehehehe...picture-taking capped the night and we are all excited to post it in facebook for our former classmates to see.
we had so much fun reminiscing those younger carefree years. now, we are all successful in our chosen career and happy with our family life.
God is so good for all the blessings He has bestowed upon us. WE are so thankful for this day that we enjoyed each other's company after more that two decades. i am happy seeing them enjoying life...enjoying success...with humility!

Hi Whistle,
That will be great seeing you personally friends and maybe with other mylot friends too. it will surely be a one in a lifetime dinner dates of our lives. imagine we will be meeting our virtual friends that we've been interacting for quite sometime now. who knows such reunion might also happen to us mylotters...after a decade or two hehehehehe!

i am excited C for our next meeting--dinner date and it is scheduled last friday of this month. some of our batch mates confirmed. i hope there will be more of us to come over the said dinner as it will be one great reunion.

Hi C,
THanks for taking the time to view my album via facebook. i tried to post our picture here but again to no avail. it's always network error. it's been so long since i've been trying to attach picture in my discussion but sad to say i always fail.
I had a great time with my former classmates. we even set a date for our next meeeting and they requested that we bring our hubby with us as one of classmates took her husband with her and introducted him to us.

that sounds like fun. a get together with friends that you still have since grade school and high school is really something. my wife found her classmate also at facebook but unfortunately most of them lives abroad and they just can chat at FB and just have a get together if they can go home here at the Philippines for a vacation. but still it is fun and cool to find them at Facebook.

WE really had fun my friend. Until now i can still feel their spirit. WE're all high then to see each other and happy about what we are now. WE even called on of our friends whose in laguna and he's willing to join next dinner date schedule. WE have a yahoogroup account for our batch and facebook batch account too. so, even those who's working and living abroad are easy to reach via yahoo and facebook. though same with you not all are into chat. THanks!

That sounds great, and I am very happy to hear that you and your friends enjoyed your meeting. It must be a special experience to meet your old friends again and hear about the things that happened in their lives since that time.
Some years ago I was invited to a party with some of my old classmates, but I had to work, so I wasn't able to go to the party. I hope that we will manage to get together another time, so that I can see some of my old friends and talk to them again. It could be interesting to find out what they are doing today.

Sad to hear that you missed the party with your former classmates. Try to be there next time and it will be something you will be looking forward for. It sounds like you had a wonderful time catching up with your friends. I would love nothing more than to be able to have a time like this with my friends that I grew up with. You see, one of my closest friends from school moved almost a thousand miles away a couple years ago and since then I've only gotten to see her twice and I really miss her. We are able to keep in touch through facebook, but that really isn't a substitute at all for being able to get together in person with a friend.

We did friend! Actually, we need some more time but it's already time for us to go home. so, we scheduled a follow up dinner meeting and tried to invite other batchmates so it will be more fun. thanks!

Good for you!
I haven't seen many of my former classmates and officemates for years now. Sometimes I am wondering what happened to them. How are they doing: do they have their own family? Are they rich? Did they migrated to another country? Are they still alive? Things like that.
Maybe we could meet someday through the help of internet like Facebook. I particularly miss my best friends in college, as well as some buddies in one of my office I worked with 10 years ago. I hope they are doing fine.

Yes, facebook is a great tool to find and reach them. Actually, that was what happened to us. I found my batchmates over facebook. After some chatting we decided to meet and that was it. We are working on asking other former classmates to join the next dinner date and that will be this last week of July!

Yes it would be really happy day to see our old friends. Moreoover you had got that luck to have dinner with them. I hope this getting together would give those old memories a refreshment. Moreover that is time when the value of friends really got a value with lot of innocent feelings. Those tender hearts were the more valued during those days. The reminishing moment was the highlight of our meeting. it was not even the food hehehehe. it was a lengthy "looking back" discussion with them. some secrets were unveiled that made us truly laughed out loud.

I considered last night a blessing for meeting again my former classmates, my beloved friends. Yes, try to contact them and meet up. It's a great moment seeing them again and learning about what's going on with their lives and how they are coping with the demands of life. i am so proud of my classmates. they're happy and are able to make their dreams come true.

Its fun to be with your former grade and highschool classmates again, they're the ones who you are with during wild teen age life. Its really a exciting moment, seeing them again, its like you're reliving your teen life again with them. Although, its not been long since me my highschool classmates have seen each other, we totally look forward on our reunion every time we have catch up. I hope it will came soon too.

WE had the chance to refresh our memories with those naughtiness we and our classmates did during our highschool days. We felt that nothing changed about what we feel as we reminisce those times. physical we gained extra weight since we were kids hehehe but emotionally we are still the kiddies that we used to be--young at heart...aging gracefully. Now, i am looking forward for the next meeting. they even requested for a regular one and it's on a monthly basis meeting! Thanks friend for dropping by!
