My village name is ramachandrapuram, raama is the hindu god who is the great god with a single wife, chandra means moon and puram means a place. totally it has a great meaning. My village is full of green trees and the people in my village are really kind hearted and very very good people.

Yes, you are right, my village khilashapur is also have a great meanig, Khila means a great kings building.

In india every village name have specific meaning, and your village name is really good. India has a great history and great tradition. In india the HINDU religions are majority. The god rama is their god. So for many village in andhrapradesh they put the prefix as rama.
