Would This Educational Business Idea be a good one

Hello there im a 3rd year student in california and i just got an idea for an online business tell me what you think, with the economy how it is and students having to work, i thought that i could read text books from cover to cover and then put together an ebook of about 50 pages that basically summarize the textbook and sell them for 10 dollars to students, this way if they do not have the funds to buy the book or time to read it they can still gather all the most important information.

First off, welcome to mylot. May you enjoy the educational and exciting experience that I am having.
I taught Associates level college students for 3years. The problem I see with your idea, is how do you know what the Instructor will focus on. Sometimes there are 2 books per course. Each Instructor may use different texts. Are you planning on texts like history, psychology and social services? Are you planning on mathematics tests?
With more information about business plan, people can give you a more objective evaluation. Oh, in the state of CA or other states also?
