Revelation is something unique, for me this word is related with word of God, with Gods action, with His work in world...but nowadays this word has lost its sacral meaning and I hear it all around - like - in the exam I had revelation and in one moment I know what is the right answer....Does really some thought, some fresh idea could be called as revelation? What is revelation for you? What do you think when people tell you that they have had revelation? Does this word is related with God or your meaning of "revelation" is just simple inspiration?

A revelation is a moment of insight where something is revealed to you. I think you're simply getting confused. The book of revelations in the bible is meant to be this. An insight to the things said to come in the future...the revealing of the future. It's the exact same word. I just think you were confused as to what the meaning of it was.

But could we call the moment when man meets the God the moment of revealing of the future? It is the actual moment, it's present, it's giving something new to him, it's giving new life for human. So I think it's not right to call some idea what comes in human mine as revelation.

The moment that you are speaking of is God's revealing (the revelation) of his power and will to man. It's still the same thing. You're misunderstanding the meaning of the events and words to mean solely one thing.

The word revelation is a word generally reserved for use in religion and philosophy. In Bible, there is a whole chapter on revelation. People tend to use it loosely in common parlance. They mostly do so to throw light on their ignorance. What they end up revealing is their lack of knowledge and education. I don't think the word revelation is a commonplace word. People should use it only if they must and not otherwise.

Hi bubulizzz, It is inspiration or intuition and may come from guardian angels or spirit guides whichever term you prefer. As intuition it can come from another living person who is thinking about you. I've experienced it on many occasions and it never ceases to amaze me. It when you suddenly know something without a word being spoken of anything happening and usually happens when you're alone. God is not a being separate from us but rather we are all a part of God. Blessings.
