Did we come from the stars?

For years there has been much debate between evolutionists and creationists as to who is right about how man first appeared on earth. There are also a few people who believe that there could have been another way. Today, more and more people accept the fact that there has to be life on other planets, since the number of planets out there seem to be innumerable. Isn't it also possible that some may be millions of years ahead of us? Were we perhaps an experiment by an advanced civilization? In some ancient texts, there are references to people who some thought of as Gods or sons of God, who might these people have been? If some of these people came back thousands of years later, wouldn't it be assumed that they were Gods especially since they came down from the sky?

I wonder, though, pose, why only humans chose to view them as gods, or beings to be worshipped? Why didn't they just ignore them, like cats, or befriend them, like dogs, or just simply regard them with complete indifference?

I think "the world" we see is not a real one..There are unnumbered "worlds"..It's just like a film..Each world has its time point..But the ending of this film is the past.
I also don't know why we has the law of nature
who made it and why

U R welcome..You may know the software named AUTO CAD.You can draw a two dimensional picture, then you can strech it into a three dimensional one, which looks like real.If you draw many these three dimensional pictures, and add the Time as one factor, you will get living substance.

Hello pose
A few years ago, I was in a group who were working on a quest to solve a puzzle.
Our quest took us into this area, and now I wish I still had my findings, but alas, they were moved to a new location, and are now unavailable to me.
So, let me say that many believe that we are decended from acnient astronauts, and there is even some writings in the Bible to support this.
In Ezekiel, it states that there was a flying object that was seen as a fiery whilwind that looked like metal--a wheel within a wheel containing four living creatures that looked like humans.
In Genesis, it says "When men began to multiply, and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that they were fair and took them to wife...and they bore children to them", which sounds like some beings, called the sons of God, interbred with humans.
In other ancient writings, you can find references to beings called Nephilim, who are referred to as fallen angels and "the Watchers".
Lots to think about. If you want more information, just search "ancient astronauts". It will keep you busy for a while.

Hi edwardjoy, Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Where did moneys come from is a good question but also,if we evolved from moneys, why are there still monkeys here? Of course evolutionists say that it goes back much before monkeys. The Bible and other holy books as well, say that God created man. There can be little doubt but that there is life on other planets, since there are millions of them and some are likely to have civilizations much further advanced than ours. Maybe we did come from another planet but that doesn't say that God does not exist. No matter where life exists it still poses the question, was it creation or evolution? Blessings.

This will always be a very deep, indepth subject and it will always raise some good questions about our existence! I have been thinking about these things for a long time and I sometimes think that it may be possible that we may have been created by a superior, advanced alien race! This sounds totally radical I know but there could be some truth to it!
Our Universe is so vast and there are billions of billions of stars and it just seems impossible that there isn't other life out there. The crazy thing is, S.E.T.I. (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence), they haven't found anything as yet, they have not received any kind of signal from another world and they have been going at this for a very long time now.
I think if we were to finally establish that we were created by an advanced civilisation then it would upset all the major religions of the world and we would all have to start thinking differently and learning afresh. I like watching the science documentaries anyhow and they mainly show on Discovery Science, they're very educational to watch.
I'm not sure that any answers will be found within my life time although you never know what may lie right around the corner. Andrew![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

Hi pose,
Though I am an atheist ( at least I think so ) some time what you have typed in your post push me to think about the other side of this life that we are living for a limited period of time.
I too feel on the same line as you do that since no theory on men's appearance on this planet is absolute and universally accepted, there must be some buts, and ifs. Now what is that? I believe that the concept of God and religion was to keep people united and controlled when we were not so civilized (?)as today.
But even today people are dying on the name of God and religion and I am baffled if or not the purpose of religion on our life was not over yet.
And there sprouts the mouths of doubt that there must be some creature not necessarily like we humans, who are much superior to us and are controlling from a place not known to us.
Yes, your notion that we must have come from some other planet and are experiment of some superior creature surely rises the curtain for a totally new show.
If Stephen Hawkins could alert the world about the existence of the Alliance something must be there in the soup.

Hi rajib, Thank you for commenting and there are many who think they are atheists, but fail to realize that we really don't know enough to be able to make that decision. It is easy to be an atheist if the only other choice is to believe in the kind of God that most people appear to believe in. Our little finite minds can't even comprehend the possibilities of what lies beyond, let alone make a decision about what's out there. I agree with you that religion as we know it today has brought, and continues to bring much bloodshed, which is the complete opposite of what should be happening. The only big exception seems to be Buddhism, which is more like a way of life than a religion. Blessings.

I believe after reading many astronomers that life was possibly brought to us by comets. What you are trying to say has been written about by Erich Von Daniken many years ago.But this was disproved by many scientists. There could be life on many planets around distant stars but whether advanced species from these planets visited earth and helped in the present form of life hasn't been fully proved.

Hi picjim, No it hasn't been proved, and I'm not saying that I believe it, I'm just tossing the idea out there for discussion. I do think that it's possible and don't have to disprove either of the other theories. I also think that eventually the universe, like what's happening with the earth, will become a global village. This theory doesn't mean that evolution isn't correct, just that it didn't happen on this tiny speck of dust. Neither does it disprove God or the idea that God was the original creator. Thank you for coming here and sharing your thoughts. Blessings.
