Not all people seized an ability to read, lucky are those with instinct to understand and absorb reading materials. Nowadays printed pieces of writings are not widely popular, most people preference is switched to internet because its instant access or cheap rental catches their attention well... even you ask people they would do it as much as I do the same. Are fond of reading? What is your favorite articles to read in Magazine/Newspapers or online reading in your well-liked websites?

Actually, I think the Internet has helped people with reading. For many years people were turning more and more to radio and television for information and entertainment. As the Internet has become more widespread and popular, people have needed to read better and more just to navigate it.
My son has Aspergers and with this condition people have a high IQ in either verbal skills or non-verbal skills with a low IQ on the other side. Many people with Aspergers score high on the verbal side and are voracious readers; but, my son is the reverse. Even though he is very intelligent, he has a lot of trouble reading and this caused him a lot of problems in school. After we got him interested in the Internet; he is now reading more and actually checks books out from the local library so he can learn more about the interests he has discovered on the Internet.

You find internet reading simply as easy without utilizing more of your time (without too much effort too). Internet has extensive linkage if you want to read further regardless of the articles or topics or any classification of readable items, you are more cheered up because it is less expensive, there you do some money saving.

When I was still in college I am fond of reading novels in the library as a way of leisure. It also enhances my English skills as I had difficulties in vocabulary and grammar rules. Now, I switched on reading online where I can get full access to my favorite authors. I have bunched of emails everyday for all my subscription and I take time to go over them and read.

I don't think that e-books or the internet will ever replace the written word, there is so much pleasure to be gained from reading a book, newspaper or magazine.
I adore to read, I read almost any genre of book and could not imagine life without it.
I haven't really got a favourite style of writing - I think that it all depends on my mood on the day - at the moment I am reading a physcological thriller but next week it could be a historical novel!!

Hello oldchem! Thanks for your participation, that's fascinating hobby, at least aside from being busy to your daily household chores you are still having your time to read. I know you enjoyed it. This is somewhat great pastime especially during our leisure moment, so keep on reading you'll get good benefits from it.

I loooooooovvveeee reading a lot! I love reading novels and inspirational books, and I at least try to write some. My wildest dream is to build my own library with lots an lots of different books and other reading materials. I can't get through a day without reading anything from any book. I love to read as much as I love my life. It is my outlet for stress, boredom and negative emotions. I feel like escaping from real world when I am reading.
I spend at least couple of hours inside my favorite bookstore which allow customers to read privately and the actually give space or corner where customers can settle and seat comfortably to read. I love that store so much, and I feel sad when I see books scattered around like the persons who picked them up were not interested and they just left them behind. I pick them up and put them back on the shelves where they belong. I hope every one feels the same. Books are gifts and they are best friends!

I love to read and have a book going all the time. I dont see the internet ever totally replacing a book. They actually just did a study (read about it today but dont remember where) that people get more enjoyment out of a book then one of those e-book readers. I have thought about getting one and yet like the feel of a book in my hands and the turning of a page.
As for what I read? Almost anything, history, true stories, fiction. The only thing I dont get into is romance. Anything else is a go!

I prefer to read books. I'll read blogs online but I pretty much skip the news since it tends to be too damn depressing. I seem to be a series magnet since that seems to be what I'm mostly reading these days. I like fantasy, horror after all I do love those vampire books.

Despite having ebooks in the internet, I still prefer reading books and would even save up to buy books each month. I would never turn to ebooks because the pleasure of readingfor me comes from holding a book instead of holding a laptop or IPad. I would be willing to browse the whole bookstore the entire afternoon just to find the books that I want to read. I read blogs and some news more in the internet.

Well I'm not a bookworm but I like reading particularly on facts. Like National Geographic book. I also like to read inspirational books. But I don't read as frequent like my friends - I'm actually lazy with it. But I'm really encouraging my self to read.

I am fond of reading. It is easier for me to tell you what I do not read about rather than what I find interesting. I do not read about sport or celebrity gossip.

I am not fond of e-books, to be honest. I have a ton of them, since they're easier to purchase and I love to read books in their original language if I can speak and understand it. But, I get tired to easy to read on my phone or my nintendo DS, my eyes begin to hurt and tear.
Instead, I love the feeling of having a proper book in my hands. The scent of the paper, the sound of the pages that are being turned, the feel of your fingers... it's not something that can be replaced with a e-book.
The articles that I love reading in Magazines are the ones about culture, usually. The point of view of someone with a different culture than mine, a description of a country, the situation there, and so on. Fashion, cinema and literature are good too.

I love to sit down with a good book (preferably a thriller or mystery), a hot coffee and just put my feet up, sit back, relax and enjoy. I like trying to solve the story before the end of the book. I do use the internet but only to find books in a series that I am reading so I know where to go buy a copy. Maybe people use the internet to read books because they have forgotten that libraries exist or they are not sure how to use them but I can honestly say that I don't read books or news on the internet. Give me a book anyday but each to their own if that is the way they want to do it, at least they are reading.
