have you ever experienced food poisoning?

I haven't experienced it personally, but my mom has. She ate some Quorn, a very tasty meat substitute product, and was so sick she had to go to the ER. She actually lapsed in and out of conciousness several times, and had to miss work for a few days after the incident. Turns out that Quorn isn't made from mushrooms like we thought it was, but from a mold called Fusarium venenatum... Which means venemous mold! Some people, like my mom, have really bad allergic reactions to it... I advise everyone to stay away from Quorn at all costs, just in case!

yes. i have experiences food poisoning. It was bad...i was vomiting the whole day without a break...I tried to drink water...and eat something light and everything was vomited. I would rather starve than eat something and cause food poisoning.

i got food poisoning from a very large chain of restaurants that serve seafood. i talked to a friend who worked there and he said it happened more often than they wanted to talk about! i was sick for a week!

Hi shiloh_222! I have never experienced such. However, it is one of the things that I hope wouldn't happen to me. In fact, each time I see the news and there are issues about food poisoning, I become more and more careful about the food I eat. I am sure that it is and will never will be a pleasant experience.
