Is malaria really dangerous ?

Malaria as caused by the sporozite parasite Faclciparum malariae, is endemic and potentially fatal if left untreated.. when the parasite reaches the bloodstream through mosquito bite, it enters the red blood cells and causes them to erupt sporadically and lead to anemia and splenomegaly.. in extreme cases where the parasites reaches the brain leading to cerebral malaria mortality rate reaches 95%... cerebral malaria is worst form of the disease..
