These are Nigerian based scammers who are trying to cheat people out of their money. If you respond to the lottery email you will learn that there are fees that you have to pay before you can collect your "winnings". Emails from orphans, the lawyer for someone you do not know, someone trying to move their family fortune out of the country but they're unable to because they're refugees, etc. are all fake. There are many variations of these scams, so don't trust any of them.

Yes ganny I have received lots of different emails like this. I have even received REAL checks in the mail. That I am suppose to take to my bank, deposit, go shopping and buy what ever I want, its mine to keep, then mail a report of my shopping experiences and a check for $250 for their fee! The catch is their check will bounce but I have already sent them the fee! NOPE to smart for that, although I have to admit when your holding a real check in your hand it makes you think for a minute!!!!! There are so many 'scams' out there that you really have to beware. I think your topic is great as it will open many eyes to what is going on.

Well, Gany 15k guess what! According to the Bible they will. Revelation 21:27 says 'nothing impure will ever enter it (heaven), nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life. There are many other verse that tell us the same thing but right now I have 3 little girls calling 'grandma'......

I've received them and I also intentionally seek them out as part of a group which fights these scammers in an attempt to keep at least some of them too busy to bother other people. Email addresses are often sold by websites which is how they got yours. If you continue to ignore them your email address will eventually be rated as not in use and they will stop.

Yes having more money is always a problem..we can't even sleep properly..always thinking about who is entering into the home..what sound is that in the nights when we sleep and also all relatives will care more when we have more money but when it is not there all will degrade us...so always having money what we need is good...Savings can be done but not very very large amount ....

Like what others said, this is a typical email that came from Nigerian scammers. They send these emails hoping that someone would actually believe it then they will respond to it. The scammers will then ask them to send money claiming it's a fee but what they are doing is only getting money from the poor victim. Believe it or not, there are people who fall for these kinds of scam mails. If I actually won then I would probably invest it in a business then let the rest of the money grow interest in the bank. I'll also build some charitable foundations to help other people or donate to foundations.

Hi, Gany! I delete these, or they go straight to spam. However, once in a while, I can't help thinking about what I'd do if I really did win such a thing. I'd give a big chunk of it to a variety or charitable organizations, and see what I could do about arranging for lobbying in congress for issues I think are really important. Just knowing I'd never have to worry about paying the bills would be so wonderful!

They hope you really think you've won a prize. Instead of that they immediately give you the prize, they will never award you any prize whatsoever by the way, they will ask you to for deposit some money into their bank account/credit card, after you've made the payment you can say bye-bye to your money.

It's OK to dream but I just can't trust. I've got lots like this over the years. There was one which requested help to move a family fortune out with a promise of a 50:50 share. But there were lots of legal and administrative charges I had to foot before I could ever come close to the money. Oh boy! what a scam! The one you received is no different!

Yes, I received this kind of messages every alternate day and if it was real, I would've been in the list of Warren Buffet and Bill Gates. Some had said, the world is full of fools, and these people live on that only. They are not tired of sending emails worldwide and I am sure they might be getting some victims to carry on their wrong intentions. I feel they should be queued up somewhere and I should whip their a***s till my satisfaction.

i received several sms like these but i just ignore them as i know that these are scams only. sometimes i even think of trying to contact them and just waste their time but i also think that i will be wasting my time too. but if i would really win, then it would change my life and the people that surrounds me, maybe for the better and for the worse, as we all know that money is the root of all evil hehehe...

you get this message only to fool you just to get your email registered in their database, so they can see the databases so that they will most likely earn money, and you will earn a mailbox full of spam, if I really won this much of money and I wouldn't know, then I would just blow my chance away.
