Good neighbours. Myth or reality?

What did you experience more: good or bad neighbours? What to do to make bad neighbours good? It seems to me that I always had good or decent neighbours but not anymore. When I was younger I didn't notice so many faults in people. Now people hurt my feelings all the time and most of the people are the neighbours. I'm trying to be more polite, kind or simply trying not to notice some things but it doesn't work so well. Any solutions? Tell me also about your experience.

i dont think you can make bad neighbors into good ones. Most of it is luck. But, all you can do is try to be the best neighbor you can be. If you do that it might convince your neighbors to start treating you better.

Or just vise versa: show them the worst. And maybe it will make them appreciate the best in you.

Lol, i dont know about you but when people are d bags to me i have no desire to be nice to them. Thats like reverse psychology though, it work for some people.

We have bad neighbors. I dont know why they are so angry at us but as far as I can remember, there was one time that our neighbor threatened to kill us. We didnt do anything to them, like honestly. I think they are just jealous of us that's why they did that. We have to report it to the authorities of course because we cant risk our lives.

They shouldn't have done that. It's horrible when people threaten you. Neither good nor bad neighbours should do this. It's criminal.

my mom has been blessed with great neighbours! on the one side, they have lived there as long as my parents (my dad passed away last year) and on the other side, they have lived there for only 4 or so years but they help her out all the time!

That's so great when neighbours help each other. A sincere neighbour can become your true friend for life.
