What is THAT book for you?

What book have you read that has brought on the strongest emotion? Mine is Intensity by Dean Koontz. I don't know why, but I got so mad at the heroine in the book for taking stupid unneccesary risks. I was listening to the audio version on a road trip and kept yelling at the radio to give the girl instructions. I'm sure people passing me thought I was insane.

I have read so many books that really brought me strongest emotions, like the ones that are inspirational, and I they actually change my life for quite sometime. Like, after reading, Living, loving and learning by Leo Buscaglia and Tuesdays with Morri by Mitch Albom, it's like waking up the next morning and you feel like you're another person because they just changed you own perceptions in life. But with the novels, I really can't get over Sparks. The Notebook that I have read (and watched) a million times (for exaggeration only, not totally million but many times that I can't count), and every time I do, I still cry. That proves me what true love and everlasting love mean, and that no matter what, LOVE STAYS. Then THE WEDDING and of course, The Last Song. Those are the books that make me so emotional. But not only them, I have a lot in mind, but they are just too many to mention.

Well... I don't know. I usually wind up yelling at characters or laughing at them or whatnot. I've never really cried while reading a book but then again I've never cried while watching a movie either. (And I'm a WOMAN! *gasp* What's wrong with me?) Most books are an emotional roller coaster ride for me... I don't know if I could tell you the one that brought out the strongest emotions.

For the classics, it is Les Miserables. For the modern ones, it is Ludlum's Bourne Identity.
