Haaaacchhooo!!! Sneezing again, and I always sneeze every morning and every time I get exposed to even a bit of dust. Before, when I wasn't yet aware that this is caused by allergies, I took up medicines for colds. But my mother wondered why did I always sneeze even without any reason to get colds. We consulted a doctor and the doctor said it was ALLERGIES. Whenever I clean the house, and get exposed to dust, I sneeze and rashes appear. Every morning I wake up, I sneeze. It just stops when I'm inside an air conditioned-room, like here now in the office. But I swear last night I couldn't sleep well because of Haaaacchooo! and aaachooo!! I hate it! Do you have the same problem? What do you do to stop it?

Yes i take medications as well, but sometimes, when it is not severe, I just take plenty of water and it really helps. Try it too.

The best way to get rid of it is to avoid all those allergens. I think you should be aware of the allergens that caused your allergies to occur. If you know them then you will know what to avoid. Its an allergy what you have there, its not something that can be cured away.

Thanks for the response, but I guess allergens are everywhere.

I was reading that people who are deficient in Vitamin D have more allergies than those who are not. Maybe if you increased your Vitamin D intake (got out into the sun without sunscreen for a few moments each day, ate more fish and/or took fish oil, etc) it would help.

We admit allergy is one of the many chronic illnesses that are very hard to get rid of. But there is a possibility of getting rid of that. Just inquire with your physician what are the available prophylaxis treatment for your allergy and what are the foods that you need to avoid of.

I have this too. It's called Allergic Rhinitis. Rhinitis for short. Allergic Rhinitis is characterized by colds in the morning and in the evening and sensitivity to dust and smoke, pollen spores and animal dander. Maybe you haven't noticed but you'll get really bad colds when the climate is changing, probably because of the pollen in the air?
I've had this since I was a kid, it's hereditary and can also be passed through saliva.
Unfortunately, there isn't any cure for this. You could take medicines to eliminate the allergic reaction, but you'll have to take the medicine everyday. It's more of a remedy than a cure. I guess in time you'll learn how to live with it, also exposing yourself to the allergens could reduce the effect. (Doesn't work for me ).
It's good to have medicine ready just in case you'll have a severe attack. Prices range from 7 pesos to as much as 50 or 80 pesos. Depends on the brand. Generally, anti-allergy meds are called "Anti-Histamine" the cheapest anti-histamines will make you sleepy. You'll actually feel groggy and fall asleep. The more expensive ones are those that are non-drowse. It pays to know to know the generic name. When I was a kid I used to take Celestamine (BETAMETHASONE DEXCHLORPHENAMINE) which makes me really sleepy. It's a known brand of anti-histamine and Claritine (LORATIDINE) for non drowse. Right now though I buy meds that aren't branded, so I look for the generic name LORATIDINE because claritine is really expensive! haha
