How could some people keep on talking without anyone answer them?

It is a funny phenomenon I saw at work. Some one just keep on talking, probably he was talking to me, or talking to my colleague next to me. He keep on talking about the world cup, then change the subject to his friends and family. We were there partially listening, and partially working on our work. But no one actually answering him. I just wonder how could he keep on a conversation for himself like that. It seems that he was talking to himself. I just don't understand some people.

That is funny stuff. When the bluetooth first came out i was like What the hell. som guy was over there talking to himself about dinner lol

Oh, it gave me the same impression at the first time. But this guy, he wasn't having a bluetooth on his ear, so he is obviously talking to someone, and no one wants to answer him though.

ya now a days blutooth sets are coming in so many shapes and sizes that we are not able to know whether that they are having blutooth set or not
they are talkin to us or they are talking to others on the phone

I have not seen or known anybody who's talking like that, and alone with a certain subject like world cup or anything else. I too sometimes talk alone but that is if I am looking for something that I can't find and have to speak it out myself to express my frustration. I also have a friend who's talking alone every time he is in front of the computer especially interacting with friends in facebook.
But your friend is something else, and you are right, a funny phenomenon.

maybe he was to inspired to talk or just full of emotion when talking about some topic or such.

I also met such kind of people sometimes this people didn't stop talking even for the next day,if you find them the next day they talk the same way as yesterday while no one answered them yesterday,i also just don't understand some people.
