I have just come home from my trip to Canada. On my trip I took my very lightweight travel towel. I packed few clothes but added a tube of travel wash and my elastic travel washing line. It doesn't need any pegs. I took my daughter's travel cot which is like a lightweight pop up tent. I didn't take any sheets or blankets with it. I took a guide book for Vancouver and Vancouver Island rather than a guide book for the whole of Canada. On long trips I used to photocopy budget accommodation listings. As I traveled around I got rid of the pages I had used. I will try to travel more lightly on my next trip.

Five essential items for me are 1) Passport 2) Inhaler (for asthmatic person) 3) Clothes 4) Camera 5) Credit card

First of all I put my documents and credit cards with my meds and pills. That includes tickets if I have them. Then come the clothes items which varies depending on where I go and if it´s near or far from home. I go many times on trips where I start the trip in Winter and at the other end is Summer. I have to take care of that. I have a small case with hair brush and toothbrush.I put enough underwear, a nice dress that doesn´t wrinkle and can be placed anywhere, 2 pairs of shoes for different occations (not more). I wear my jeans during the trip.I need glasses, scissors, nail file and twizzers. Besides that, there my camera and that´s all.

My 5 essentials are. 1. Underwear 2. Clothes 3. Basic Meds 4. Extra Cash 5. Camera

For me it, looks something like this: Toothbrush (and toothpaste, of course) Wallet Passport Clothes (Including a bathing suit if you go to a warm country) A book, so you have something to read on the flight and on your destination

hello maia! when traveling, id have with me; 1. clothes 2. money-its a must 3. toiletries- its a need 4. cellular phone for communication 5. umbrella for rain and heat of the sun i think that would be it! happy mylotting =)

first would definitely be my clothes next would be the daily accesories like my mobile and my ipod and money man if you dont have it you cant even start the journey before going check out if you have all of the above then buy out a waterbottle and move on
